ARGH!!! FREAKING DISAPPOINTED NOW! Wenlin just informed me that her SOKA association doesn’t have any more vacancy for guys for the NDP performance! And we must have full commitment to join too! ARGH! Of course I wish I can have full commitment, but I have got the weirdest work schedule in the world!!!

Super sad! It’s like I’ve been anticipating for this Saturday to arrive so that we can go for our first rehearsal. And just the night before it, she struck me with such disastrous news!!! ARGH!!! My dream is all gone now!!!

I’m kinda blaming my work for that now Who ask me to have such weird schedule..Zzzz!
Like today, I went to work when all the people were about to knock off =.=

Was supposed to digitise a new show - Celeb’s a Cook in A24 with Cass (:

Reached and the previous shift still had not ended. Pearlyn was still inside, editing the corporate video of Mediacorp CEOs speech. Could sense the tension because one of my supervisors - Erat was inside, explaining to the in-charge on why that video was impossible to be edited nicely.

Then Chee Beng joined in..followed by my boss =x

2 supervisors and 1 boss in the room, I could sense how stressed Pearlyn was..lol.

Initially Erat told me that I am editing the corporate video! PHEW! He just mixed up me and Pearlyn =x

That video was really a challenge. Only 1 camera, so jump cutssss were inevitable. Yet the in-charge was unsatisfied with the jump cuts :S

Cass finally arrived and joined me waiting..lol. Waited in A23, but she left halfway to take over Ting

So I waited alone in A23…waited till like 4.45pm! =.= 1 hour and 45 minutes wasted, so I was kinda prepared to work OT tonight.
Called up the AP and finally found the 9 tapes to be digitised :S

Was unsure of how to start, because the first and only time I digitised was when I did a small segment for Rouge. That time, there was no log sheet, I gotta manually rewind and choose shots, then log them. Plus Effie set everything for me =x

Yea so this time round, I was kinda lost. Luckily Cass came back in time to save me!!!
She showed me the thumbdrive with the logs, if not I would be manually logging the 9 tapes like a fool =.=

Started digitising and just left the machines there to run, while Cass and I went to the canteen..lol. Wanted to get my strawberry apple yogurt juice, but the shop was closed!!! Damn sad!

Strawberry apple yogurt juice makes me a happy girl, so does Horlick
Bought sandwich and hot Horlick back, and we were ready to skip dinner break (:

Back to the suite and tapes after tapes, watched till wanna sleep..Zzz. Luckily I’ve got my MP3 with me and Cass has got her PSP..lolol. Damn slack lar.
And how contradicting is this..lol!

Thought we could go off at 9pm, but there were problemsss with timecode breaks =.=
So only finished at 10pm. But at least 1 hour earlier

Checked the clips after we were done and realised that the audio has got big problem!!! The audio for camera 2 totally sounded like machine gun sound! Zzzz! Freaked out! Thought we gotta stay for another few hours to re-digitise.

Called Chee Beng but I guess he was asleep! So didn’t know what to do either =x
No choice but to leave after few attempts to solve the problem.

Gotta walked out of the dark alley alone because Cass’s boyfriend came to fetch her Quiet and dark alley with dog barks..Zzz. Why the hell is Mediacorp in such an ulu place?!

Anyhow, was relieved after Chee Beng replied saying that it shouldn’t be a problem, since we can use Cam 1’s audio..PHEW!!! Scared the hell outta me.

Alright, that’s all. Except that I really have to rant about wasting my time to go down to YMCA early in the morning at 9.30AM for that never-ending TOUCH project again! And I really don’t see why is it always the few of us being involved only.
