What happens in Vegas

Felt kinda happy today and like my shoulders are feeling much lighter
It’s like I’ve done whatever I should/could…I’ve shown how much I really appreciate everything…I’ve been nice to everyone that I love (:
It’s like even if I happen to die now, I won’t die with much regrets..lol. Not emo lines; just really feel kinda 轻松

Alright, anyhow, the F&B Heroes (new Chn U variety programme) producer only booked me from 10.30am to 3 today for digitising, which is kinda weird. Cause normally producer book editors for the whole 7am-3pm or 3-11pm slot. Yea so I only gotta report to work at 10.30, but I went at 9 (:
I was afraid that there might be problems like the previous time I digitised with Cass. Then if I did not finish by 3, I would be chased out by the noon-shift editor. Yep, so rather play safe and come earlier to do. At least I can go off early if I finish earlier (:

Expected it to be quite a short task since the producer only booked me for 4.5 hours..lol. Yes, it was indeed a short task. BUT I DID NOT KNOW! Until like 3pm?!?!?! =.=

Ok..shall explain my carelessness + dumbness + etc. diligence.

Read the note that the producer left for me (but somehow she thought I’m Cass..lol).

Tried finding the “blue ticks” that she was talking about. Looked through the tape labels, looked through the log and I found NO TICKS!

Chee Beng came to help me to start off, and he didn’t understand the “blue ticks” part either. So I said I shall just digitise everything, since I thought I have enough time to do so.

Picture of my desk from yesterday. But more or less the same as today..lol. Biscuits wrapper, magazine and storybook. Digitising can be quite boring ok. I even considered bringing my laptop there today..LOL.

But guess what, I couldn’t even read my book in peace! Right after the FIRST clip, I encountered timecode break! Zzzz! Freaking troublesome! And it’s not only for that clip, but for the next few clips as well!

So instead of sitting there and watch the show/do whatever you want while it digitise by its own, I gotta stop and key in the right timecode and blah blah blah whenever I see this stupid prompt! ARGH! Wasted lots of my time!

Luckily F&B Heroes was quite a nice show. It’s about service in the F&B line, which reminds me of the high expectation on service when I was working in Sentosa back then.

And the producer of Home Decor Junior (I think?) was also in that show. He was kanna sabotaged and teased by Chong Qing (9.33 DJ), yet he couldn’t retaliate cause they were filming..lol. So freaking funny that I couldn’t help LOL-ing occasionally in the room

Skipped lunch because I knew my timecode was gonna break anytime =.=
At 3pm, I was still left with 45 minutes of clips to be digitised!!! And the Chinese Drama guy was already “chasing” me out =.=

Then guess what? I came across this set of EDL (Edit Decision List)-looking papers which I have no idea what is it for. And I saw freaking TICKS in BLUE ink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!! It’s like only a few ticks on each page lah! And my workload of the day actually only required me to digitise those with the ticks. Which means I did like 3-4 times the work that I should! I could have gone home at like 12 or 1pm lah!

But to think again, I don’t mind the extra work, cause I’m like damn free! LOL.
The thing is, I had not finished those with the ticks yet (cause I wasted time for the un-tick ones) and that Chinese Drama guy was waiting for my room!!! Zzzz!

Got stressed up cause the producer might be pissed if she knows that I did not finish the short task. No choice but to call Chee Beng..lol. Really didn’t wanna depend on him or even bother him, cause he’s really kinda busy.
Yea he told me to ask the Chinese Drama guy to use A9, and luckily he did..phew!

Yep. So stayed back and continued on those tick ones first.
Finished but since I was waiting for WJ to head down from SP, I might as well help to finish everything Yep yep! So I ended up digitising EVERYTHING..muahahaha! Guess that saved a booking slot for the producer (:

After work, WJ accompanied me to SPH to collect my Bird Park tickets..lol. Yea I won them! Thanks to Alvin

Then headed to AMK to meet Potato and the rest for dinner, as well as What Happens in Vegas!

Cass recommended it, so I sms-ed Potato this morning and roared that I wanna watch..lolol.

Really enjoyed it very much! My favourite genre of movie – Romance + Comedy
And thanks to Cass for the 2 wonderful quotes that I took extra note of during the movie

After the movie, I was telling Shimin the scene when Cameron Diaz stood on the bar table and shouted like nobody’s business, I admire her (:
It’s not about her hotness or anything. It’s just that kinda “why do you have to care about what others think of you” attitude. Seriously, why care? I always feel that if you wanna LOL, even if it’s in public, just go ahead. As long as you’re happy (:
