Taiwan Trip – Day 6 & 7

8th March 2009

It was another free day for us! Clique was going Taipei 101 … it’s not that I’m not interested this time round, but I just didn’t wanna wake up so early :S
However, eventually Potato’s call woke me up at 9am, cause the phone was just beside me…Zzzz. Overheard that the guys downstairs were all ready, so I thought WJ was also ready =X

So I decided to wake up and start preparing as well (:
Bathed and then called WJ’s room, but only to realise that the boy was still rolling on his bed =.=”

He joined me in my room after getting ready, and we could not decide on where to go again =.=
So we just watched TV while waiting for each other to make the decision =X

Were deciding between Dan Shui’s jetty (which we did not go the other day) and Yang Ming Shan. Eventually he chose the latter and we set off for our trip (:

Train-ed and then took a bus up the hill. Was thinking of something and I just suddenly teared in the bus =.= And the tears just did not wanna stop flowing! Irritating.

Started climbing slopes and stairsssss up, which I think was more tiring than climbing Bukit Timah hill :S
Even WJ who has got pretty good stamina was panting after climbing all those..lolol.

Reached this cave area and started taking photos inside xD

Then the monkey started climbing up those rocks and requested a photo once again…lolol.

Continued walking around that area cause WJ wanted to see the final product of the person’s drawing to see if it really resembles..lolol.

Dragged WJ to take a photo with the beautiful Sakura even though he was more enthu about taking a photo for me =.= Cause he had got an artistic shot in mind…lolol.

Went back to the portrait area to take a look at its final product.

So WJ decided to give it a try as well, and I was kinda surprised by that. Cause I thought he would have expected that we would end up being like animals in zoo, with passerby starring at us =.=
In the end, he really felt rather uncomfortable abour that..lolol.

And we really sat there for quite long =.= Like 45 minutes? =X

I think it was some flower festival there, so we managed to take photo with the beautiful flowers ((:

Was hungry by then, so we headed to a nearby shop and had curry rice!
Quite nice because the rice was completely wet with curry (I hate dry rice).

I was thinking of trying the hotdog there and so WJ ordered one. But didn’t expect it to be 大肠包小肠 =X
Yea this flour sausage is called 大肠包小肠..lol. And because I don’t like the flour part, poor WJ gotta eat it again :S

Was a bit lazy to continue climbing the mountain, so we randomly chose a route to walk.
Passed by this beautiful fountain ((:

Walked back to the place where we alighted and took bus back to the train station. Then travelled down to Shilin night market again cause we wanted to buy 太阳饼, which is 1 of the must-buys in Taiwan (:

The 2 of us bought 1 whole bag of goodies each and so we decided to head back to the hotel to put our stuff first..hehe. It was raining and we didn’t have umbrella with us -.- cause the clique took all of them out :S

Luckily I had my hood but poor WJ had to walk in the rain =X
So back to the hotel and I waited for him to bath while I watched My Sassy Girl on TV for the XXXth times
I still enjoyed the show, but WJ kept commenting non-stop about the cliched storyline =.=”

And then because I was rather tired, he tricked me to sleep and intended to sneak out to get mee sua on his own even though he had promised to let me tag along…tsk tsk tsk!
He even “scolded” Shrine for being noisy, hence waking me up =.=” Totally didn’t have the intention to let me tag along lor!

So I woke up and insisted on tagging along to get mee sua. And this is how Ah Zhong mee sua stall looks like. Everyone just stood by the street to eat the mee sua (:

Went back to our individual room and watched TV with Shrine and TCC, while enjoying my mee sua.
Then I initiated this idea of taking a photo of our sexy legs xD

Bathed and since there was still time before our K-session (which was at 11pm), I decided to sneak out to shop at Ximen Ding alone. I had already told my roommates not to inform the guys downstairs about it, cause they are always so protective and would not allow me to shop alone =X

Bought a cheap skirt, at last! Cause I did not buy any bottoms over at Taiwan =.=
Then continued shopping and looking out for suitable clothes for my Sis’s wedding, but was being spotted by WJ instead…argh!

No one betrayed me. But it’s just that he happened to go to my room and realised that I was gone…damnnnnnnnn. But eventually, I managed to convince him to let me shop alone..hehe.

Shopped till the shops started to close one by one. Then met up with WJ and waited for the clique.

By then, Ximen Ding was rather empty again =X

Headed to the PartyWorld in Ximen Ding and started our K-session xD

We split ourselves into 2 rooms – Gui, Potato, WJ and me VS Queena, Sikai, Shrine and TCC.
Ours was the so-called “emo room” cause we kept singing emo songs, whereas the room next door kept singing those super high songs..lolol.

Furthermore, the nose block was just a turn-off for me to sing properly =.=”

Then something happened in there which made me shivered for the longest time in my life..lolol. I swear I’ve never shivered for so long and so jialat before!!! xD

Potato was the first one to KO in our room -.- He was sleeping like a pig! The rest of us continued singing and finally left the place at around 6.15am. Yea we sang from 11pm to 6am! =X
Went back to the hotel and I continued packing my luggage from the previous day before taking a short nap.

9th March 2009

Woke up after the nap to do some final packing up, cause we were supposed to check out of the hotel at 12pm =X
Left our luggages at the hotel lobby and we heade out for breakfast (:

This was where they started the “管你要还是不要” joke =.=”

Since our coach would only arrive at 3pm, we still had some time left for some last minute shopping. So WJ accompanied me to the Long Shan station there to get the bah gua for my Bro ((:

Then we just ended up walking round and round the station cause we had too much time to waste and we were trying to 套话 from each other..lolol. Went back to Ximen Ding and the clique were playing those win-prize games again :S

Gathered at the hotel at 3pm and waited for the coach which was supposed to come and fetch us to the airport. Waited for quite long and the guys decided to go out and look for the coach instead. In the end they only spotted a big bus, which eventually we boarded cause it is also going to the airport that we were heading to anyway =X

On the bus, Shrine, Sikai and Potato started using the mic and acting as tour guides..LOL!

And they just crapped on and on =X

The bus journey was rather long, and we finally reached the airport at around 4+pm =X
Checked in and was glad that none of our luggage was overweight! xD
But mine was still the heaviest – 15.1kg, followed by WJ’s 14.9kg…LOL.

Yea our flight timing was 6.25pm, which means we still had time to have dinner before boarding (:

Was super hungry since I did not really eat lunch =X
So we gathered all our remaining money and dined in a restaurant there (:
Overall, we had spent all our money except for WJ, who was left with NT 1000…lolol.

Then it was about time to board our plane (:

GOODBYE TAIWAN!!!

Slept at the most comfortable position on the plane, but at the sorrow of someone else’s…lolol. Even TCC said I slept till very shuang…hahaha. The flight was sooooo long that I got really bored :S
So we cam-whored ((:

Arrived in Changi airport at around 11pm. Then somehow, my fingerprint could not be scanned and I had to go through another exit instead =.=

After that the guys went to buy wines and etc, and then Queena and Gui cabbed home.
The rest of us managed to squeeze up WJ’s car and his parents drove us home ((:

Back home and unloaded all my loots

That marks the end of our Taiwan trip ((:
Totally enjoyed this trip and am missing Taiwan now!

And really gotta thank our lao da – Potato for putting in all the effort to make this trip so successful! THANK YOU BUDDY!
Thank you my 3 roommates – Shrine, TCC and Queena for putting up with my nonsense and long bathing duration as well…hehe.
Thank you everyone in the clique for taking care of me throughout the trip ((:
