Lunch was at J8 and then boss automatically walked to Polar to buy cake again! LOL.
It’s like every cake shop has got this “magnetic power” to attract him over xD

I alerted Reiko and we managed to stop him in time…hahaha!
Because the previous time he bought a loaf of cake from there, I had to “force” everyone to have at least a piece because it was expiring the next day =/

But actually I stopped him because Polar cakes are overpriced!
Me: This is $7.80…very expensive! Outside it’s only $3, can buy 2 loaves!

LOL! Super auntie! xD
But we managed to convince him to walk out to the neighbourhood cake shop instead…hehe.

My boss is a big fan of cakes if you haven’t realised by now. It’s like part of his diet, so he insisted that we each choose a piece as well…haha!
I think in the end the cakes cost more than the loaf in Polar, cause it’s the individual kind =/

The cake kinda makes me more paranoid about tomorrow’s health screening…
What if I have diabetes or something! :S

And Reiko said they are going to draw 3 test tubes of blood from me…OMGGGGGG.

The retarded banana

I knew b1 is gonna attempt to wake me up since he’s back from Australia and that means my slavery days are back too…Zzzz.
Luckily I was smart enough to silent my phone and slept in till late~

But it’s only his first day back and he already made my O+ blood boil!

So what happened was that we were supposed to meet for lunch, but we couldn’t decide on where!

Eventually we agreed that I’ll go down to his place on my own and then he shall make the decision; fair and square.
But when I reached his block, I couldn’t recall which storey is it, neither could I reach him through his phone!

Went RI aka RJC for the first time this morning! (:
Nope not for work~

I didn’t know the students need an access pass for the gate =.= I came by the back door but realised that I couldn’t enter…
So I walked all the way to the front gate (cursing occasionally) and then sneaked in when 1 of the students scanned her pass! xD

Felt superrrr foreign in this big institution…

And all the school activities that I’ve lost touch with long ago :S
Nostalgic indeed!

So I was there for a briefing because I decided to do something good this Christmas! (:
A few of the RJC students have came up with this gift-wrapping project to raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Foundation!

Unfortunately, I was the only non-RJC student there! =/
Not only that, I was practically like some over-aged and out of place weirdo, sitting amongst all the students who are dressed in school attire! OMG.

I know Gek Peng’s gonna hate me for saying this, but I never felt so OLD before!!!
Especially when the attendance list was being passed around and everyone’s IC number is like S93XXXXXX and mine is the eye-catching S89XXXXXX! AHHHHHHHHH~!

Luckily at least I see a familiar face around – Shi Hui! (:
And the hiccups during the briefing kinda cracked me up…LOLOL.

I seriously don’t know she’s there to watch movie or to narrate it. Zzzzz!

Anyway, although I can never remember the prequels of Harry Potter, each of them never fail to make me feel excited and do stupid running actions as though that can make them run faster xD

But I think Deathly Hallows didn’t make me feel as excited as … I forgot which.
Maybe it’s because the excitement got cut off halfway, which I doubt I will remember by the time part 2 comes out =/

It was time to part with the girls and we couldn’t really bear to! D:
So I walked further and further with them and they ended up walking me nearer and nearer to my house! LOL.

Guilt-stricken!

Due to a VO recording this morning, we had to reach office at like 9am! Argh.
I hate anyone who deprives me of my SLEEP!

Wilson and I were both late because we totally forgot about this unfamiliar thing call – MORNING JAM! -.-”
So I was damn kan chiong to set up everything because the doctor (VO talent) had arrived (slightly later than us)!

Worse still, Wilson was having a bad tummy and I had to handle everything…
Of course I can since I have done it many times before, but because I was so kan chiong, I plugged the cable into the wrong side and the mic wouldn’t work as a result!

Panicky attack and luckily Wilson came in time to save me!
I feel so -_______________- when Wilson removed the cable super calmly and changed side! Zzzzzz!!!

I bet he thinks I’m a complete noob at that point of time D:
I can’t believe it! After so many VO recording, I actually plugged the cable wrongly! ARGHHHHHH!

Then problem #2 – No extra batteries and the mic is running flat soon!
Luckily I have my SUPER BOSS whom I can always call for help and he’ll be like “No problem! I’ll get it!“

Really can’t express how much I love my boss and colleagues x.x
And really can’t express how much I hate myself for being such a noob cum blur queen cum idiot cum whatever!

Anyhow, the VO recording went pretty well and we finished within 1 hour plus~
Oh I realised I’m not sociable at work because I don’t know how to suck up to people =/

I’m NOT bad-mouthing anyone because I think sucking up is an essential skill in the working industry, especially to clients!
But I just can’t. I am so straightforward that I’ll probably throw in some sarcasms instead :S

It’s damn bad lar. That’s why I usually choose to shut up at work.

I only wanted a proper pasta!

Reiko and Wilson were shocked when I told them in the morning that I have finished the scripts…lololol.
But we still kinda spent the whole day trying to come up with the final versions.

Supposed to summarise the scripts even more, but we ended up adding more words :S
I kept reminding them about the duration (because I tested it at home) every time they added a word, but I also understand that they are more concerned about the content…

The thing is we really can’t squeeze so much information into 1 video and we have to “sacrifice” some of the info and split them into different clips…
If all the 3 clips contain the same info, then it kinda defeats the purpose =/

Lunch at TTSH because boss had a meeting there after that (:
Was hoping to bump into any of the nurses or at least Germain so that I can give her a big birthday hug (but I know she was on night shift)…hehe.

I was pondering whether to buy Subway instead, but it would be kinda weird since everyone is eating Délifrance D:
So I decided to just order this meatball pasta, which in turn made me regret for not getting my Subway!

Not only was the whole meal $16 + the staff being too kan chiong…
After eating like 1/3, I realised the meatballs are COLD inside! Like from the fridge kind!

So Reiko helped me to request for them to heat it up and I’m really okay if everything is fine after that…
Then while I was waiting to finish the remaining 2/3 of my pasta…

The staff served me with a brand new one instead!
How to finish?!?!?!!?!

Eventually I did not finish it of course, and it’s such a waste!
So I’m hating Délifrance now for making me waste food and for making me feel like I’ve made one of the worst decisions in life ever -.-”

When I said heat it up, please just heat it up…Zzzz.
I only wanted ONE proper pasta! FML.

Anyway, it was such a full lunch and luckily we did not hit our butts right into the cab yet~

Couldn’t wait for kickboxing this week!!!
1 week without it (due to Hari Raya) is badddddd~ Miss it!

Back to pair-training and I wanted to train Joanjoan’s butt muscle as well…LOL.
Oh the combos are getting more and more complicated that I even smashed by face right into the striking pat when I mis-aimed my elbow -_-

Nonetheless, I’m still loving kickboxing!
I might even be continuing alone when Joanjoan stops to focus on her studies =O

Oh yea. I changed the blog theme because I’m getting sick of the old one.
Well there is a chance that I might revert it back to the black skin if I get sick of the current one..haha!

Anyhow I kinda like this theme (right now), which is inspired by the iPhone/iPod touch application – Notes! (:
The Notes app is kinda awesome for forgetful people like me…hehe.

Oh the only thing I dislike about the current theme is that the “Leave a comment” button is now at the start of the entry -.-”
Who leaves comment before reading an entry…Zzzz.

Reached office kinda early today!
Earliest since I came back from Hong Kong and I hope this becomes a habit again! (:

Busy discussing about the new project and as a result?
Late lunch at 3pm and we continued discussing till 7.30pm~

I really don’t understand what’s fucking wrong with myself.
They were talking about who should write the first draft of the script, which I naturally thought would be the producer, but eventually they told me to give it a try…

I kept thinking, “Why me?! Why me?! Why me?!” and I felt kinda stressed and unconfident.
The fact is I love to write, don’t I?!
So why am I always trying to back out on such stuff! Argh.

But eventually I accepted the challenge and I always know that when I’m not confident of doing something, I’ll just put in extra effort to make it right. So I even brought the script home to work on it (:

Oh well. I really NEED to “absorb” some confidence from the over-confident B1 I guess! Zzzz.
Really hate myself being like that.

Our independence day!

I think my body clock is seriously screwed.
I made the effort to sleep at 12am last night (but was attracted by the TV for 15 minutes), yet when my alarm rang at 8am this morning, I felt as though I did not sleep at all -.-”

But thanks to b1′s retarded, “Are you awake yet?” SMS which will obviously wake me up, I managed to drag myself out of bed.
I seriously think that’s the most retarded SMS that I always get; equally retarded as “Are you asleep yet?” Zzzz.

B1: Are you coming to fetch me at the airport when I’m back?

Me: It’s 3am! Why would I be in the airport when I should be sleeping -.-”

B1: How can you not come and fetch me!

Me: Okay fine. I’ll drive your car down to fetch you, but I’m not going to be responsible for anything that happens to it.

B1: Okay then you better not come.

Boss was out of office and we decided to cab down to J8 for lunch~!
For once we are not relying on cup noodles or delivery as alternative to the coffee shop food…haha!
We didn’t even travel out on our own when boss went to Japan xD

Had Thai Express and my colleagues started talking about their dogs~
Then I asked Reiko about the Hachiko story and we started exclaiming about it together, saying how touching it is and so on! T.T

She said that the spot where Hachiko waited for his owner has became a famous spot as meeting place…
Like people will say, “I’ll meet you at Hachiko…” or “I’m at Hachiko” and so on~

Anyhow, they went to buy KOI after lunch while I bought Yami Yogurt! ((:
Love it with the fruity pebbles, which I always call it “the rainbow one”…hehe.

Felt so damn lethargic and sleepy when we came back…
I think I used up all my energy on the damn water bottle (the gigantic kind) in the morning -.-

The bottles of water were delivered on Friday but we were out for meeting, so this morning Wilson and I were looking around for them…

Finally found them behind the back door (which means outside the office!)…Zzzzz.
So we had to carry them all the way in one by one -.-”

Then this girl from next door happened to see me and offered some help…so nice!!!
Her male colleague did not even mention anything until she suan-ed him, “Eh you never help her!“

But eventually I said I’m okay and that my colleague is coming soon~
I still helped to carry one bottle in though, and it’s like some weight-lifting exercise seriously!

I almost couldn’t lift it up, but after I did, it wasn’t as heavy anymore.
Even Wilson was complaining about how damn heavy they are okay…Zzzz. Killer.
