So we finally set up the coffee machine that we didn’t have time to do so on Friday. Okay doesn’t look very glam because I only took it after a few rounds of coffee-making, so it’s kinda dirty =/

But that’s because I really wasn’t so into the machine…
Reiko even asked if I’m okay or too tired from NDP because my energy level has been quite low since last week…lol.

I think that’s definitely not the reason and I’m really not interested in coffee at all? They even tried to get me involved by saying I can make hot chocolate with it, but I said I have my 3-in-1 Milo…LOL.

I won’t mind trying a sip of this Davidoff one though, since it’s like branded~

Me: This brand is for perfume! Very nice perfume~

Wilson: It’s for cigarettes as well…

Reiko: But if it’s for cigarettes, why would they be making coffee?

Wilson: Cause it’s all about the aroma; the aroma of cigarettes and aroma of coffee…

Me: To us, that’s more like a pollution, not aroma.

Reiko: I agree!

Haaaa! Seriously, I can never link smoking with aroma -.-”

Anyhow, enjoying my grapes while they were enjoying their coffee! Hehe.
Ran out of apples, so I brought grapes as replacement (:

We will get there!

8 hours of sleep is satisfying…
But 10 hours of sleep is just gooddddddd~!

I don’t get people who think that sleep is a waste of time; my colleague(s) thinks this way. I think sleep is giving your body the well-deserved rest so that you have the energy to fight the next day! (:

Yet another fruitful practice and my group is catching up now (and in fact faster than the rest at times) because the trainers and instructors helped us out as well. You should have seen the way the instructor was constantly shaking his head while observing our leaders =/

A short ice-cream break in between!

So in the 3 hours, we finished all the formations and learned all the dance steps! That was also why my phone went flat; I was busy typing down the steps…ROFL.

Had lots of fun though; lots of running and funny dance steps…haha!
There’s even one part which we gotta hold hand with the person next to us and dance in circle…LOL.

My partner is this cute boy who is going the feminine way. Okay not really, just that he has got curled lashes which I’m so tempted to ask if they are naturally curled! Haha! But anyway, we both couldn’t stop laughing whenever we do the merry-go-round dance xD

There’s really too much to remember in a day though! So many blur moments…haha! That’s why I think we need a lot a lot of practices – to learn and to get familiarised; very very familiar kind.

That was how we managed to put up such a great performance during NDP 2004; I could sleep-dance back then…haha! Nonetheless, we still have 2 more months to go and I hope and I believe we can do it! ((((:

Skipped the dinner provided and rushed off to City Square Mall for shopping instead! Hehe. I’m just in a spending mode lately because it seems like shopping is the only thing that can cheer me up right now (:

Furthermore I need more shorts for NDP practices! So now I have a collection of Cotton On shorts of 5 different colours…haha! Got a pair of sports shorts too~

Took shuttle bus to Toa Payoh because I didn’t wanna squeeze with GLKs =/
They have the tendency to stare and I have the compulsion to punch their faces.

NDPeek

Week after week, I’ve come to accept that things will never be the same again.
It’s a gradual change that we should all have expected, that’s all I can say.

Anyway, decided to head out early for some shopping since practice is only at 5pm.
I even shopped till I was lateeee but I didn’t really care since the actual practice probably wouldn’t start so early.

Dinner which they promised will be better since this is like an extra practice~
But the broccoli is still disappointing -.- No taste at all.

Then it was 3 hours of intensive training with only a 5-minutes break in between. I like the fact that they are finally making full use of the time, though my group still spent half the time waiting…Zzzz.

So bored that I even started cam-whoring…hahaha!
Usually I don’t bring my phone to the field, but I needed something to keep me entertained while waiting! Perhaps I’ll switch to iPinky next.

My first number tag~
It’s really hard to spot the right number tag!!!

And something more challenging (than my previous performance) is that there are a few parts whereby we gotta dance while walk/run to the next formation at the same time. My group always runs to the wrong number tag =/

But I kinda like my group despite being the second oldest there; most of them are secondary school kids. This playful Malay boy always makes us laugh and so on, so we were less bored at least.

But some of them are still rather blur or not committed enough, which kinda worries me. Nonetheless, I think as compared to last week when our performance was like 40/100 (judged by yours truly), we are now at least 70/100! (:

I think everything would have been better if we have more efficient leaders who can stop giving us the wrong instruction/position -.- Though sometimes I pity the old man…

There’s a point when I was told that I gotta dance solo, which freaked me out.
But luckily it was just yet another mistake by the leader(s)…phew~!

Ended training at 9pm and it was quite a fruitful one (:
I was still afraid that my group would have wasted our time coming for this extra practice…

Anyhow, ended off with a lucky draw because the in-charge was touched that we made the effort to come back for extra training…LOL.

Finally heading to Kranji camp next Saturday!
And probably another extra practice on Sunday~ (Joanjoan, guess we gotta postpone our JB trip! Sorry x.x)

Strudel after a day of hard work!
I was expecting this when I said I want the small one….

But I saw this giant one instead -________________-
It’s probably small to someone else whose subconscious mind wasn’t warning that gotta act 一个 “You took a bigger piece than me…HA HA HA.” Zzzz.

Nevertheless, why is strudel always so good!!!
I can’t remember when was the last time I had it but durian strudel is just a bliss!

Met up with TCC to collect my belated (extra) gift which he started admiring over -___- And he refused to let me walk home even though that’s my plan!

So he insisted that I wait for the last bus which was supposed to arrive in 10 minutes time or so…
After waiting for 15-20 minutes, I finally managed to convince him that the last bus had probably came early (though I know it’s unlikely), so there’s no more bus…LOL.

Eventually, he finally gave up and allowed me to walk home, after making me wait for 20 minutes?! ROFL. It’s only 5 bus-stops away!

Then while I was walking towards the third bus-stop, I heard a bike ringing so I turned around and gave way. But this weird uncle continued to ring his bell and said, “Excuse me“, which got me quite pissed because I had already moved to the edge!

I turned around and gave a weird + pissed look, only to realise that the weird uncle is TCC! LOLOLOLOLOLOL! He actually went back to take his bike because he insisted that it’s dangerous for me to walk home alone! Awwwww~

He didn’t expect that I would walk so fast and was already halfway through, but he said I might encounter danger in my other half of the journey…LOL. I was pretty confident that I would make it home safely! But nonetheless, thank you so much! (:

Low low low low low~

So busy these days that I don’t even have the proper time to really sit in front of my laptop and blog normally. I was so tired last night that I KO-ed right after I showered and did not even touch my laptop! =/

Anyway I dreamt of my brother the first night when he flew to Japan -.- He actually came back because he said Japan is too boring…LOL! What a ridiculous dream but I guess I’m already missing him x.x

Woke up feeling kinda flu-ish this morning and I guess it’s the damn air-con in office last night!
It’s really really irritating to keep sneezing and tearing and tearing and tearing!!!

Sometimes I don’t even know the tears are because of the sneezes or my emotions…lol.
Mood has been lowwww these 2 days and I really hope I’m not giving any bad attitude at work. Every little thing is pissing me off and I need to cheer up seriously!

Lunch in town because we were planning to get a coffee machine~
I was the only one who is not excited at all because I wouldn’t be using it =/

But I still like the idea of walking around after lunch instead of sitting in office and suffer from indigestion. Furthermore I didn’t need to be involved in deciding which machine to buy, so I’m even more glad.

Waited for my colleagues to view a video so as to make changes together and ended up overrunning till 7.30pm. Mad late for kickboxing class as compared to usual! Strong urge to take cab but nope, gotta save.

Joanjoan and I got split up once again even though Mimi wasn’t around D:
And Joanjoan get to partner with the pretty butch! *jealous!*

Okay she’s not exactly a butch but she’s just the tomboy-ish kind aka the pretty boy kind!
I mean she’s pretty as a girl but just that she’s heading the masculine route~

Stop motion is not easy!

Mood was ruined since morning so it was a gloomy day for me.
And the lack of sleep didn’t help…Zzzz.

Back to office to film our handicraft video, but we kept pushing back till late afternoon…
So I spent the time making more handicrafts (:

Made this flower using buttons and ice-cream stick!
Spent a long time making because it’s not easy to make the buttons stick to one another -.-”

So we finally started filming at this superrrrrrr cold area in the office and I can’t stop sneezing since then! I think it’s worse when you so feel like sneezing but nothing’s coming out except the tears…Zzzz.

It’s kinda our first time trying stop motion and as much as I know it’s fun, I know it’s not easy too. We took a really long time just to plan and prepare, and our actual shoot only started at around 7+? Haha.

Colleagues decided to order KFC for dinner but I behaved like a spoilt 3-year old by insisting that I don’t want anything. Cause we just had Pizza Hut the previous day plus I really wasn’t hungry -.-”

So break for their dinner in between, plus smoking break(s) and buying-cigarette-break (not ours of course) and finally, the shoot ended at 10 plus!

The effect of stop motion is indeed pretty nice, but I can’t imagine ourselves doing it for every shoot! Haha! It really takes a lottttt of time and work, including the making of those handicrafts~

But it makes me appreciate what I’ve made (even if they don’t look fantastic) and I’m even using them to decorate my computer! Hehe.

By the time we left office, I was like, “What?! It’s already 11?!“
Sooooooooo tired!

So there goes my only free night for the week~
I have been missing out on Clique’s outings and I wanna watch Paul too x.x

Piggo Sheng’s last civilian day~!

Gaaaa! I really have no time to blog! So I shall do a quick post! (:

Jogging with Siew Siew after work because the girl suddenly expressed interest in jogging as well…haha! But because we were too caught up with work, by the time we were at the last lap, the stadium lights went off!

But 6 rounds were enough to kill us anyway =/
Can’t even remember when was the last time I finished 10; so demoralising.

Got dragged out by the piggo brothers shortly after I reached home -.- Cause Wei Sheng actually called to psycho me over to their house! -faint!-

I totally know what they gonna do – make me watch show that is of their frequency with them and then try to get me involved in their alien language…Zzzz.

But since it’s Wei Sheng’s last day before enlistment, I decided to give him face and go over. Though I blamed it on Zee, cause he must be the mastermind for such stupid idea -.-”

These 2 brothers are really one big headache, seriously! Taught Wei Sheng how to sync his iPod touch but end up getting scolded by him when he went to sync his iPhone as well -.- Why do I feel that Zee had given me such 好心没好报 lesson before as well? Zzzz.

Watched 逃学威龙 with them and then Zee started teaching his dear brother how to fold the Smart 4 sleeves~

He was damn impatient with him and somehow I got involved as well -.- I was said to be useless because I don’t know how to fold the sleeves! WTH. Am I supposed to know?!

It’s art time!

It’s an arty-farty day because we gonna make some props for our video! (:
And Reiko made a broom using the string and she is very proud of it! ROFL!

Nah of course that’s not the kind of “abstract” art we did today; we were basically painting!

Although all 3 of us claim that our art sucks (which is true in my case), I think Reiko is the most talented one amongst us! Look at the bird that she painted!

And boss came back with rewards for us!

Library after that and it’s so arghhhh to see My Sister’s Keeper on the shelf! When I was dying to read it, every library has them on loan every single day, which is why I bought it…Zzzz.

Kinko!

Had a 35-minutes debate session with SingTel on the way to work and I won 70% of it? Haha!
But then again, I still have no idea which phone to get! Settled on BlackberryB Torch initially but I just realised BB plan might indeed be quite expensive D:

Spent half the day cracking my head to translate some stuff on behalf of Reiko and I had a hard time translating the title. Jokingly got Zee to translate for me and since I already know the translation for Pneumococcal Disease, I left that out and typed, “Protecting your child against XXX”…

After trying for some time (and getting his bunk mates to help), his reply was, “提防／防卫 你孩子对于色情（物品）的影响？” I didn’t get it for the first time because it’s in han yu pin yin and the first 2 words are already grammatically wrong (提防 is for thieves and 防卫 is for soldiers! LOL).

Then I read it for the second time, trying to figure out the han yu pin yin and I was like, “??????“
Then I literally LOL-ed when I figured the 色情 part! I seriously didn’t expect him to take XXX literally as X-rated stuff! LOLOLOLOL! I should have thought of it right! Given that it’s him (and the army guys)…hahahaha!

It’s the first time I’m seeing the white one and it’s so much cuter! ((:

Told boss about the resemblance between the Care Bear and Reiko and he was totally impressed by how much they look alike! Hahaha! Reiko was the one who told me about it last time and I totally agree with it! xD

So boss decided to buy the bear for her to put in office! So sweet right! (:

So why should one still give in and let such stupid mentality manipulate you and your principle? This alone is against my principle.

Time is precious!

For the first few practices, the in-charge emphasised over and over again about punctuality…
But since last week, we have been told to come early only to end up WAITING! -.-”

Seriously, if that’s their way to avoid having late comers, I think it’s god damn stupid!
People will just “lose trust” in your reporting time and naturally come late for the next practices to avoid waiting right?! Zzzz.

So we were told to reach by 2.15pm for costume fitting and we waited till 3pm for that?
Had a glimpse of what our costumes will be like and it’s formal wear – shirt with blazer and long pants (heatstroke alert!), cause we are supposed to be office workers performing in a MRT (:

After the costume-fitting, which only took less than 15 minutes, it was waiting time again -.-”
I really don’t get why they make us come so early when they had already intend to start the official practice at 5pm!!!

Many photographers actually came today to take photos of our practice and it was rather distracting…
Cause I was busy trying to avoid them! Super dislike unglam candid shots -____-

I’m glad that we went through the dance step by step again because last week’s practice was a total mess! Steps were changed and different groups have got different steps for certain part, which is just confusing! So it really helped a lot~

The girl before me took the last piece of chocolate ice-cream, so the uncle opened up a new flavour, which is yellow. I was thinking to myself, “Omg. Am I that suay to be getting sweet corn again?!” But luckily it’s durian! xD

Off to the field for formations again! (:

But once again, my group was super left out because we were the slowest again!
They call our leaders the “blur + blur”. What to do? Zzzz.

Other groups had already finished 3 formations and started practising along with the dance, yet we were still at formation 2?! And the other 2 groups were complaining about wasting their time to wait for us, so they carried on practising while we could only wait for our leaders to settle the mess -.- It’s really demoralising!

I already feel that we have not enough time, yet incompetency level is at play.
I really have not much confidence that my group can put up a good show now you know x.x

Practised till slightly past 8 and we did not manage to finish all the formations as planned…
So extra training on Saturday!

It’s a short training but I really hope it’s a productive one and we would make full use of the time, instead of spent waiting! I think we need more than 1 extra training anyway~

And I don’t know why the in-charge used words like “hard work” because I feel that we are not even working hard enough. These practices as compared to the ones we had in school, it’s nothing. So I don’t understand why people can have so much complaints -.-”

Good food @ Lorong 5

So my dear buddy is finally back after 3 long weeks!
I thought he has totally forgotten me since there was no news from him in Taiwan nor when he’s back! -.-”

Was desperate to go out so as to meet up with him since I had already made my day free for him!
I was expecting a Clique outing but eventually I realised that’s not gonna happen…so yup.

Had a hard time deciding on where to go and our plans changed from movie to movie screening (which I think it’s interesting!) to I don’t know what else. And in the end we settled on trying the dry ban mian which the nurses recommended, followed by movie (:

Joined TCC in Soon Song’s house and had a taste of 太阳饼 again!
I wanna go Taiwan tooooooooo! D:

Anyhow, we were supposed to get the movie tickets first but when we reached Cathay, we dropped the idea of the movie! LOL. Cause I really don’t know Detective 2 is nice or not and I only chose that out of desperation to go out =/

Headed down to Toa Payoh for our ban mian expedition nevertheless, and we had a hard time finding the place!!! Called Germain for help and she gave me directions, which include some “Memory Park” place…

So we tried to find it via iPhone and there is no such place!
In the end I saw this – Sensory Park! ROFL!

I thought I was the one who heard wrongly but actually it was Germain who thought it’s Memory Park! Hahahaha!
So eventually we finally found our way to the place, which is just beside where we alighted!!! -________-”

We actually walked the wrong direction and went one big round!

We even walked 1 round to make sure it’s the 1 and only and correct stall that the nurses were talking about…LOL.

Got ourselves each a bowl after the 2 guys agreed to eat for me if I can’t finish…hehe.

Chatted with the aunties and uncle whom we shared table with and realised that this place - Toa Payoh Lorong 5 hawker centre is actually quite famous, so is the ban mian (:

The glutton Soon Song also took the chance to ask them for more food recommendation and he was so excited to order so many things! Poor TCC gotta suffer along because I had already raised the white flag after my ban mian…LOL.

So in the end we ordered another char kway tiao, which Soon Song concluded that it has an indescribable taste -.- It’s not bad, but it just taste different from the other char kway tiao. Anyway it’s super cheap – 2 bucks~

Since there were 2 stalls – roast wings and fried wings, and both were recommended, the guys decided to order …

Me: -________- Jie jie bring you here again next time okay? TCC said you eat rice, he eat chicken…LOL

Soon Song: *agitated glutton* Then what’s the point!!! Tell him I order chicken head rice instead

Me: Then you eat rice and chicken head…rofl

Seriously gluttonous!!!
And luckily he did not order the roast chicken rice in the end -.- Cause he was finally full after all the above!

It’s so scary to eat with guys sometimes and it doesn’t help that I have so many guy friends =/
I was telling TCC that my blog is turning into a food blog soon…haha!

Travelled down to Bishan to meet Queena and I finally explored the newly-renovated Bishan Park! But actually the renovation is not even completed yet, and only the Mac is new to me D:

Anyway we were talking about marriage since some of the nurses are getting married soon. Queen is totally excited for her colleagues and on the other hand, I’m like, “Omg. So scary~” Haha!

And when Queen told me that Peiern might be getting me to be 1 of her sisters for the wedding, it freaked me out even more! I don’t wanna wear a gownnnnnn…OMG. I was damn glad that I didn’t have to wear any gown even for my Sis’s wedding luh =/
