The last fight~

Sometimes I really hate myself, because I can never really excel in anything I do. “Jack of all trades, master of none“, but I’m not even Jack of all trades, let alone being the master of any. No matter what I learn, I can never be good at it, period.

Take kickboxing as an example; after close to 2 years of training, I still can’t master the kicks. Demoralising much. So they decided to take a video of me doing the kicks to correct me! But now I finally have pictures of me doing the kicks…haha!

Today is the last training for me because Wednesday class will be closed till after Chinese New Year D:
Although I still have the choice to train on Friday nights or Sunday mornings, both are quite a turn-off for me because it’s FRIDAY NIGHT!!! And neither can I wake up for Sunday trainings~

I’m quite reluctant to stop because like I said, I don’t like to miss trainings, and not to mention this time round for 2 months! But I guess having to partner that same 没默契 person for the next 2 months doesn’t sound fun either =/

She was saying today that “我和 Vivian 一向来都没有默契啦～” and I can only say that it’s a mutual feeling~ I think 默契 is really important, but most of the 默契 partners have their own partners now… So taking a break is not a bad idea too!

Just that I need something else to vent my anger or displeasure now.

Love beyond differences

Busy day~ Took 4 hours plus just to finish my lunch because I was rushing to complete a clip which was promised to be delivered by the end of the day. A promise is a promise; no bargaining for time!

So I insisted that I can finish it; there’s a will, there’s a way! I still believe that as long as you are determined enough to do it and just concentrate, it’s not that tough after all.

Finally Twilight-ed! Couldn’t wait for it because everyone has watched!

Well it wasn’t awesomeeeeeeee but good enough for me! Now I know why Billy said the guys will find it sucks while the girls will love it; it focuses more on the romance part than the vampires and fights~

Still hate Jacob though -.- Neither was I there for Edward Cullen.
But I love Bella, for her courage to love beyond differences – something that I truly admire.

K on Saturday~! Wanted to make even more full use of the day by meeting Ah Lyn for shopping and early dinner first, but the poor girl worked till 5+ pm in the end D:

Sundays have officially been dedicated to my dearest nephew now and I really hope to be as of much help to my Sis as possible! Taking care of a baby is really NOT easy at all!!!

Dropped by Billy’s place first to touch up on my hair roots colour and also a slight trim. It’s been more than 4 months since I last did that!!! Always feel good after he handled my hair (:

Off to Sis’s place~!

Took over Sis to carry the hamburger while she went to settle the milk and etc~ I love and don’t mind carrying him the whole day actually! But he gets cranky very easily D:

Yawning away again!!! Hahaha!

Starting to get bored again~

He’s really mad cuteeeeeeeeee (when he’s not crying)! -melts my heart-

But like I said, he gets bored really easily and even when you’re carrying him, you gotta keep changing the way of carrying him or walk around to different places! Otherwise he is bound to start wailing after 10 minutes =/

So while I was carrying him to the window to look at the rainy Sunday, I suddenly felt a warm patch on my shirt… I even looked at the window and wondered if the rain water is seeping in before I realised my dear nephew actually peed on me!!! LOL!

Time to change diaper after 敬茶 session! Hahaha!

Then Vic gave me a very important mission, which is to set up the mini pool that they got for Isaac! xD

But guess what, this is actually the pump provided -.- Pump 到老 luh!
Pumping the base using this already ate up all my energy!

Luckily Vic has got this bicycle pump which makes life much easier~
But we were both perspiring and having tired arms after taking turns to finish pumping the 4 layers! LOL.

Gay buddy~

Lunch at Great World City and I had the Korean Yukgaejang again! Never sick of Korean food seriously~ And Wilson ordered this $10 菜贩 from the scissors cut curry rice stall!!! -jaws dropped!!!-

This is the first time I heard a $10 economical rice, let alone it being from FOOD COURT =/

Double good news in the afternoon~ Actually I don’t know if that’s good news or not =/
But oh well…looking on the bright side, it will be!

Hitched a ride from boss and ended up in Raffles City~ Plan-less Friday night, so I thought I can use the time to shop for Xiao Qian’s belated present. But received glutton buddy’s “invitation” to accompany him for dinner, so I headed straight down to Marymount.

Called TCC down and we went to the Prata House to watch Soon Song eat…LOL. Scoopz for ice-cream after that~! (:

I swear that my buddy is damnnnnnn annoying and I can easily think of 10 reasons why I so feel like slapping him! -.-”

1) Embarrassed me in front of Scoopz staff!
2) Cannot stop bringing up my past relationship to joke about!
3) Love to make me sound totally worthless!
4) Love to go around telling people about my childhood incident that I shared with him!
5) Love to annoy me as much as possible!

Bought beancurds and egg tarts before dropping by TCC’s house to visit his mum~ She’s always so friendly and talkative, making us feel very welcomed..haha! Cute auntie (:

Was fighting with buddy (like really physically) once we boarded the bus and then throughout the journey (verbally)! Who knows his poly friend was in the same bus as us and had been watching!

Soon Song was totally shocked when he was alighting and the friend called out for him…LOL! To think that he couldn’t even recognise his own friend (thinking why does he look so familiar) when he’s from his poly clique!!! -_______-|||

Went Mac to get 12 pieces of nuggets for my dear brother because it’s 1-for-1 starting from today! So people, start using this coupon now! xD

P.S. If buddy tells me that he is gay one day, I will not be surprised. Because if even if his mum believes so, why not? xD

Seoul Day 4 首爾第四日 – Four Seasons House!

Outfit of the day~! Although I only brought 5 sets of clothes there, I tried to mix and match differently to try to pull it off…hehe. (But I look weird now in the cap with short fringe x.x)

This was the last night in Bangrang Hostel and I realised I haven’t really shown you guys the exterior of our unit despite mentioning it a few times (:

Zzzzz! Speak Mandarin means you are PRC meh?! But it’s a good thing that at least there is someone whom we can communicate with and ultimately get our food~

It’s kinda expensive for one but I just wanna try how a Korean macaron taste like and it’s actually pretty nice! Some Korean plum flavour I think~

Shopped and shopped and finally saw the bigggggg heel that Siew Eng was talking about~

Mine was like 10-20% of hers, so I managed to finish packing within a short time and started to enjoy my heart-shaped rice cake! It’s like a “local delicacy” there, but the macadamias spoil it all -.-”

Done showering and changed into my pajamas, which is the XXXL Chingay tee that I got this year -.- Never thought I will have a chance to wear it!

Tried the 20.1% soju while waiting for Siew Eng to finish packing~
Then after a while, she was like, “Why is your face so red?! You cried is it????? Why so red?!?!” ROFL!

I only had 2 sips by the way! Cause it smells like nail polish remover! :S

First Crème Brûlée!

Everyone has been saying that the Custard Caramel that I made tastes like Crème Brûlée~ But I had never tried Crème Brûlée before, so I don’t exactly know if it’s really the same thing =/

Finally had my virgin try at Bakerzin!

It’s not exactly the same in terms of texture and I don’t burn the caramel on top, but it’s a little similar (:

After eating half of it, I found a small strand of hair (probably nostril hair or what, given its length x.x) in it! So the person actually replaced it with a brand new one! :S

Feels good to get everything off my chest! (:
It’s tiring to be independent sometimes, but I just feel that it’s always better to depend on yourself than on others~

Geylang night~!

Another activity off our to-do list – go Geylang for dew-lian (Lyn’s pronunciation for durian…LOL)! Missed the days when Gek Peng and I can conveniently meet up for a durian feast after work at Chinatown~

Anyhow, we had a hard time trying to settle on a stall and we decided to try this Durian Culture one since it even has a website -.- But all the durians look so small be it 3 for $10 or 3 for $20…Zzzz.

So we decided to just buy the 3 for 10 bucks one and it’s so little and not shiokkkkk~ I remember having better ones at Chinatown, and the uncle would even give us free durians!

I even gotta change 1 of them because it’s not sweet and the uncle claimed that we can exchange if it’s not sweet~ Looks yucky right? =/

Playing with her durian…tsk tsk tsk! Actually she was just trying to hide her unglam moment when I was also eating unglam-ly! -.-”

Went 搵到食 for dim sum because it’s obvious that the glutton Lyn is very tempted by all the good food in Geylang that she went “wow-ing” here and there…hahaha!

Me: Only ordering 2???

Lyn: Yah… Later you cannot finish then I have to eat. (She kept repeating that!)

Me: Huh so paiseh~ Later the person say we come in and only order 2 =/

Lyn: Ordering 2 is better than not ordering anything!

Me: Okay lor… You tell her~ *points to staff who has been standing behind her*

She was shocked when she turned around to see the staff looking at her, waiting for her order and she was sooooooo paiseh for saying that so proudly! ROFL!

But we had a good time laughing as usual and we always make each other laugh till our stomach cramp, or worse, I almost got choked! LOL. And then taking unglam/candid photos of each other xD

Lyn kept trying to find custard bun in their menu because she knows that I like them! Haha! In the end we decided to ask the staff and they really have it! But it’s not the liquid custard kind that I like~

Full after durian plus dim sum! Finally left the place where men-seem-like-they-haven’t-seen-women-before -.- They just kept staring at us!!!

Being protective as usual, Lyn got really pissed and said, “看看看！再看我踩他们的鞋啊！” LOLOL!!! Why so cute one?! xD

Xiao Qian’s 22nd & First Outing with Isaac!

So used to sleeping in till late on a Saturday and only heading out in the late noon that I almost couldn’t make it in time to meet my dear girls at J8! Cause meeting time was 1pm =/

But still managed to do it in the end and we had MOS Burger again! Hahaha! Too bad Yinning gotta mug for exams and couldn’t join us for our MOS Burger gathering…hehe.

Nadine was updating us about her life as an air stewardess and it definitely sounds stressful! Not the workload but the whole bitchiness inside! And the super strict rules also :S

Felt so bad not being able to find Xiao Qian’s present in time so I decided to make something for her to make up for that! Even put her idol – Jong Hyun’s photo on it and it became like we are praying him! ROFL!

Tried the self-checkout machine which helps to save so much time I think! Cause the aunties and uncles will rather queue at the cashier than to use this…hehe.

Headed home to collect all the Korea stuff I need to pass to my Sis and I was out again! So looking forward to see my dear nephew after not seeing him for close to 1 month!!! Miss him so much!

Sis and Vic came to pick me up from Northpoint before heading to the in-law’s house to fetch Isaac~ And guess what, my nephew has become so much chubbier that I almost couldn’t recognise him! Hahaha!

If you tell me this is another baby, I would have believed! But it’s a good thing that my Sis has been feeding him well, cause he was so tiny before that and I always find him so fragile =(

He is sleeping less now but gets cranky once he’s bored of lying down~ That’s why he kept boxing me you see?! Hahaha! Super active boy!

And then he will start wailing when he gets real bored~

So I carried him around the house and Vic is glad that he gets to rest his hands with me around…hahaha! I believe they are both exhausted from carrying him now!

I don’t mind and in fact love to carry him, but I kept feeling that he is rather uncomfortable! Maybe I just need more practice~ Hehe.

And then he started to give me this glare like, “Who is this?!?!?!” and started wailing again D:
He doesn’t remember me after 4 weeks! I better visit him every week now!
