Energetic after 8 hours of sleep! Though it’s still not enough to make up for the previous sleepless night =/

Photobucket

Cam-whoring while waiting xD

Photobucket

The mess of girls' room! Haha!

Ready for our shopping day! :D
Photobucket

Looking for a place to have brunch but most of the restaurants around our hostel is not open yet, even though it was already like noon time =/
Photobucket

So we decided to travel down to the venue of our day and find food there~
I’m not kidding when I said Korea is full of stairs! And it’s the longgggg kind =/
Photobucket

At Chungjeongno, before leaving for Gasan Digital Complex! (:
Photobucket

Waiting for the train! :D
Photobucket

Munching on snacks at the station – something that you can’t do in Singapore!Photobucket

Their train looks pretty much the same as our MRT, just that some have got comfy sofa seats~
Photobucket

And they have these plastic surgeries advertisements everywhere, even in train =/
Photobucket

Do I blend in with the Koreans? I know, no x.x
Most of the people that guessed we are Japs anyway…haha!
Photobucket

Changing train at Daerim to reach our destination!
Photobucket

I think a shopaholic can really spend a lot in Korea because they have shops even on your way to change the train! It’s like when you’re changing to North-East line at Dhoby Ghaut and you gotta walk past all these shops, how to resist?! Hahaha!
Photobucket

So we actually started shopping way before reaching our destination and got ourselves a few stuff! xD
All are pretty cheap and some you just gotta bargain, which can be quite tiring~

Got this for Ah Lyn even though I’m not sure if she will wear it =/
But it’s Mickey! Hehe.
Photobucket

Got myself a kiddish watch which gave me quite a bit of problem -.- It stopped after like 1 hour…Zzzz. But in the end I managed to fix it…phew~
Photobucket

The urban area of Seoul~
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket

Love seeing street stalls everywhere! (:
Photobucket

Female robot promoting Galaxy S2~
Photobucket

Reached the malls area!
These are all the outlet malls selling branded or sports brands like Nike and so on~
Photobucket

But because we were real hungry, we decided to find a place to eat first! After taking a look at the restaurants, we settled on this
because it has many pictures and it’s easier to order this way…hahaha!
Photobucket

Very Korean kind of feel~
Photobucket

This is actually like our very first proper meal in Korea because we only walked and ate from the street stalls the previous day. Same for Siew Siew even though she came 2 days earlier~
Photobucket

So being really hungry (it was already 3-4pm!!!), we ordered 2 sets and a side dish… But it turned out to be so much food!
Photobucket

The restaurants will always serve their standard side dishes which include kimchi!
Photobucket

Kimchi rice~! At first when it was being served, we thought it won’t taste good. But it turned out pretty nice! (:
Photobucket

Tofu soup set and you can already feel the spiciness ❤
Photobucket

The extra egg that we ordered as side dish because we weren’t expecting such a big portion :S
Photobucket

Obsessed with the K-Pop show -_______-”
Photobucket

By the time we finished and went out to shop, the sky was already starting to turn dark and we had barely started on any of the malls! But this was actually only around 5+ pm you know?
Photobucket

Visited 3 malls in total and they are all the departmental stores kind, which I’m not a fan of because departmental stores = no cheap clothes and no bargaining! =/
Photobucket

Saw Lee Min Ho there!!! xD
Photobucket

Pretty lighting~
Photobucket

So we briefly walked around the 3 malls before we decided to give up on this area and head for underground shopping instead! Yay~! :D

Street stalls again!
Photobucket

Despite still being kinda full from the late lunch, I was attracted by the smell of this pancake stall!
Photobucket

Bought one to try because it’s not the normal pancake with red bean paste inside or something~
Photobucket

It’s actually egg! And the pancake smells really good! (:
Photobucket

Taking train to our next stop!
Photobucket

There are even shops and bakery right in front of the boarding area~
Photobucket

Vending machine for books! =O
Photobucket

I still don’t know what’s the reason or difference for each cabin to be separated with a door but it’s kinda cool~ Like only seen in those action pack movies – they will chase each other from cabin to cabin and gotta keep going through the door…haha!
Photobucket

The super complicated train map! Our current train map is like less than 50% of this?
Photobucket

Reached our destination – Yeongdeungpo station! (:
Photobucket

Shopping time~! :D
Photobucket

Actually I prefer underground shopping places even though they are still selling mostly winter wears and thick clothing~ But the prices are more affordable and you can always buy shoes instead of those winter wears! xD

Got myself the second pair of shoes of the day and it’s also the most expensive shoes I have ever bought even after much bargaining~ But it’s like love at first sight! Just that I don’t know if I will have the right outfit to wear it =/

Sales everywhere! So tempting!
Photobucket

Saw this cute bee handphone cover but it’s only for iPhone D:
Photobucket

A lady delivering something on her head! =O
Photobucket

Headache has struck by the time we finished the underground place. Knew this is gonna happen because I only had 8 hours of sleep for 2 days! But it’s such a sickening feeling…Zzzzz!

Out of the station~
Photobucket

This tent is like their kopitiam (coffeeshop) and the people will have some soju over dinner at these places (:
Photobucket

Headed to Times Square and got intrigued by the revolving glass door! xD
Photobucket

Trying the revolving door! LOL.

The real shopaholic~~~
Photobucket

Saw this M Pub which I think is pretty famous there or something because Siew Eng was like so excited over it~
PhotobucketPhotobucket

So we went in for a drink and the ambience is not bad, just that my headache had gotten real bad by then and I just weren’t in the mood for chilling x.x
Photobucket

I didn’t even bother to turn the menu to my side to take photo! Haha! Seriously tiredddddd and dyingggggg!
Photobucket

Free crackers!
Photobucket

Both of us ordered this peach crushed ice drink and it’s nice and refreshing! (:
Photobucket

But it still didn’t help with my headache at all and I even took a short nap there while Siew Eng was enjoying her Korean MVs playing on the big screen~ Head almost exploded!

Finally left at 11 plus when this group of girls beside us started smoking and I realised smoking is allowed inside! Zzzzz. Definitely not gonna let the disgusting smell worsen my headache!

Wanted to go back and have a good rest very badly but yet the train took forever to come! Argh. So we decided to take another line which requires us to change train after 1 stop as well~

On the way to catch our next train~
Happy with her loots!
Photobucket

It turned out that the train service has stopped by then because the weird thing about Korea is that their train service ends early on weekends and operates longer hours on weekdays -.- Which doesn’t make sense at all.

So we were left with no choice but to go out and take cab…
Photobucket

It was kinda chaotic because there are many people waiting around even though there is already a queue of cabs waiting along the road. So we really have no idea why these people aren’t boarding…

A few of them asked for the cab rate and got rather agitated by the quotation. Some of them started quarreling and there were obvious drunkards here and there too. Imagine having a massive headache and yet stuck in such a chaos!

Tried to communicate with a few cab drivers but they had no idea what we were talking about. So we showed them the address of the hostel and they refused to take us because the distance is probably like Ang Mo Kio to Dhoby Ghaut; they were all looking for people heading to the airport! Zzzzzz!!!

Finally asked till a nice cabbie took us! Finally can go home!!! -CRY!-
Couldn’t take it anymore and popped a pill in the cab, but felt nauseous after that. Thank goodness we reached our place in a pretty short time~

Puked a little and that’s definitely not a good way to start off a holiday trip -.-”
Hit the bed right after a shower and it felt like I haven’t slept for 10 years! Maddddddddd tired!!!
