The last Friday of 2011

How did everyone spend their last Friday of the year?
I had a good day and a pretty cactus to begin my day with (:
Photobucket

And just before we knocked off, boss spotted this beautiful sunset outside!
Photobucket

It’s really beautiful, isn’t it! Like those wallpaper that you download! Haha!
Photobucket

Trying to capture the moon together with the sunset =/
Photobucket

Impromptu decision to head over to a cafe opened by my brother’s friend – Broers Cafe to show some support since they were having a New Year event! (:
Photobucket

Through some Facebook “research” in advance, I managed to recognise his friend! xD

Me: Are you Burtt’s friend?

Friend: Yes…! You are Burtt’s …

Me: I’m Burtt’s girlfriend!

Friend: *stunned* Oohhh……

Me: No lah~ Sister!

LOLOLOL. I totally love that stunned expression of this unknown girlfriend that he had never heard of…hahahaha!!!

Anyhow, the theme is balloons, which is why you can see balloons everywhere! In bee colours some more! Awww~ Did they know that I’m coming??? LOL.
Photobucket

I like this part of the cafe (:
Photobucket

But what I was really there for is actually this meaningful balloon-releasing process!
All you have to do is write down the things that you wanna let go in 2011, then it will be tied to a helium balloon and released into the sky! Hehe!
Photobucket

But before the games, let’s have some coffee and cakes first! :D

Photobucket

Cappucino~

Photobucket

Tiramisu~

Photobucket

Caramel Mousse Cake~

Photobucket

Cheesecake~

Last but not least, brownie with ice-cream!!! 几 sinful 一下!xD
Photobucket

Personally, I like the brownie the most! :D

Caught in sweet act! Hahaha!
Photobucket

After the sinful meal, it’s time to get our butts off the chair and exercise! xD
Like I said, the New Year event’s theme is balloons, so they actually made the effort to organise some balloon games for everyone!

3 stations – Balloon Javelin~
You’re supposed to throw the long balloon throw the balloon loop, but this cute little girl is enjoying the joy of just throwing the balloon xD

It’s not easy the first time you try it because the balloon is light as feather! But after a few tries you will get the technique!

Next station – Balloon Volleyball~ (I suck at this! LOL)
Photobucket

And then Balloon Golf~

Finally time for the balloon-releasing ceremony! :D
Photobucket

Giving out the balloons to everyone so that everyone has something to release (:
Photobucket

My pink balloon! :D
Photobucket

I have extra “decoration” on my head! LOL!
Photobucket

We got led to the park nearby and I was holding on to all these balloons, which ended up getting tangled! =/
Photobucket

Released the balloons together and it’s really beautiful seeing all the colourful balloons flying into the sky! Too bad no one took a picture of it because we were all busy releasing balloons! LOL.

But of course what’s more important is the meaning behind this – Let it go, let it fly! May all the unhappiness be gone with the balloons and we shall embrace 2012 with a big smiley! :D

Back to the cafe for prize presentation for the games! Someone actually got the top score for javelin and was being described by the cafe owner as “someone who is good at putting sticks into holes“! LOL.
Photobucket

After much fun, the event came to an end and we left the cafe before midnight! (:
Off to Joo Chiat for breads and … dessert again?! Haha!
Photobucket

And the laughter just continues! Thanks to their dirty minds!
But it was such a good time spent together! ((((:
Photobucket

I hope everyone enjoyed their last Friday of the year like I did!
And do drop by to show some support for The Broers Cafe!

First time trying the food from the small cafe kiosk within our office campus! It’s so convenient because it’s just 2 minutes walk from our office~

Of course the price is a little higher, but still affordable (:
And the food is pretty good!

My grilled snapper taco (:

Finally found some time and ENERGY to go for some shopping after work! But it turned out to be quite an empty-handed trip =/

Guess it’s time to hit JB again soon~! In need of shopping therapy!!!

Seoul Day 9 首爾第九日- Han River & Sauna!

Cold cold morning after the rain~ I think it was one of the coldest days during our trip! Also supposedly the last day of our trip before we fly back the next day morning, so I wanted to eat Isaac sandwich for one last time!
Photobucket

Sandwich making in progress!
Photobucket

Already look so yummilicious!
Photobucket

My sandwich is ready! (:
Photobucket

Chicken and egg sandwich! Damn niceeeeeee~~~ Missing it now x.x
Photobucket

Happy with my sandwich! :D
Photobucket

Drinking hot chocolate in the train because it’s really such a colddddd day!
Photobucket

It was a free and easy day, so we get to catch up on places which we missed out (:
I chose shopping at Gangnam Underground Mall because I was quite disappointed with the amount of shopping loots I had!

Reached the station and Siew Eng decided to put her stuff in the locker to save the hassle of carrying them around~ That’s why as much as I would love to have a DSLR camera, I find it too bulky and troublesome to bring it out!
Photobucket

Shopping time~! :D :D :D
Photobucket

Such underground malls are where the cheap goods can be found, that’s why I love them! Hehe. Managed to get a few pieces of clothes there before moving on to Express Bus Terminal stop, which is just 1-2 stop away (:

Got my third pair of shoes from Korea there! Happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy~! But would be happier if they did not close down the other part of the mall~

Done with shopping and Siew Eng get to choose the next desired location now – Han River!
Pretty building on the way there~
Photobucket

The trees there are seriously beautiful!
Photobucket

It was damnnnnn coldddddd and I kinda dislike being in the outdoor actually~ But we gotta walk quite a distance before we reach, so I was like thinking, “Han River better be damn chio for me to suffer the cold like this…”

It turned out that it was quite an okayyyy place…hmmmm. I think I was expecting something more, but it’s merely sea with some buildings behind =/
Photobucket

Really doesn’t look that great right? Hmmmm.
Photobucket

Oh and did I mention that it’s damnnnnnnnn colddddddddddd with the cold wind blowing at you?! It’s REALLYYYYY COLDDDDD!!!
Photobucket

Lights up! Prettier now! (:
PhotobucketPhotobucket

One last shot before we finally left the place! =/
Photobucket

But Siew Eng wanted to explore the place a little more, so we ended up hiding behind the pillar while waiting for the traffic light because the damn wind kept blowing at us!!! LOL!

Finally left the place once and for all and I bought fake macarons on the way back to the station! I know they are fake because they don’t have the “classy look” =/
Photobucket

On the way for our long-awaited sauna~! :D
Photobucket

That’s quite a drastic one =/
Photobucket

Changing train~
Photobucket

Finally reached Yongsan station! But we didn’t know how to get to the spa place =/
Photobucket

Luckily it didn’t take us too long to find it! Here we are – Dragon Hill Spa!
Photobucket

But the figurine at the entrance kinda scared me a little, like is this some sleazy spa??? =/
Photobucket

Same goes for the pathway into the spa….hmmmmm.
Photobucket

Once we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by this man (I think he’s the manager?) and he explained to us about the facilities and procedures~ At first we were still kinda skeptical and scared, but it turned out to be a safe place! Haha!

Queuing up for payment and collection of outfit! (:
Photobucket

Then off to the locker to put our shoes first~
Photobucket

I was rather excited because I had never really been to one before! And given such a cold weather, I bet it’s damn shiok to be in a sauna!
Photobucket

I said it’s pretty safe because they separate the men and women’s areas, so certain levels are only accessible for women and certain for men (:
Photobucket

But I was still overwhelmed by the number of fully-naked women I see once we got to the locker area! They were all just stripping and changing there! Omggggggggg~~~~

Siew Eng and I were relieved when we found that there is a changing room and we didn’t have to strip there! Haha! Damn shyyyyyyyy can?! But the people there were all walking around naked like they are having fashion show! =/

And I still think they should invest in IPL or at least get a shaver!
Rather traumatised by all the “rainforests” =XXX

Anyway! Since we didn’t wanna strip for the hot spring, we decided to just settle for the sauna! But it was only 31°C and we were barely sweating even after staying napping in there for 1 hour -.-”

Decided to explore the hot rooms in these little houses which are burning hot!!! And it has this herbs + charcoal burning smell; I think the feeling is really like charcoal literally burning beneath you! But it makes you perspire within 10 seconds too!

(Credit: http://visitkorea.or.kr)

Headed to the common area to relax instead~
Photobucket

And then we decided to buy the eggs that we always see in Korean dramas!
Photobucket

My first 温泉蛋!:D
Photobucket

According to those dramas, you have to break the egg by knowing it against your head, so we did it the traditional way too! xD
Photobucket

It turned out that it’s damn painful can?! LOL! And it took so many knocks to crack an egg! Looking retarded~

Enjoying the egg now (:
Photobucket

It was 10+ or 11 and we were rushing off for the last train, but we decided to try the ice room first before we go! Really colddddd inside! Haha!
Photobucket

Back to Dongdaemun and I did my last minute shopping to use up my remaining money! Hehe.
Photobucket

Also tried a different taiyaki (but I forgot what flavour) (:
Photobucket

Sad face fish D:
Photobucket

Back to hostel and did I mention that the night market is just below our building??? And this pajamas stall is right outside our lift area; that’s how I recognise it! Haha!
Photobucket

Last night view of Seoul (:
Photobucket

Pack pack pack and luckily my luggage space was just nice!
Photobucket

*sings* I’m coming home, I’m coming home~~~

Finally finished all my overdue entries~! Feel much more relax now…haha!

Still in the midst of trying to get used to the new route to work and the doubled-duration spent on travelling, resulting in lesser sleep @.@

I guess it’s time to switch back to my sleep-by-12am regime, if not I will keep reaching office past noon and feeling restless the whole day! Bad bad bad!

Last time I used to be able to look forward to work, feeling energetic the whole day and still have some energy to go out after work. But nowadays I don’t even feel like waking up because I’m too sleepy, let alone going out after work!

Part of the reason is because I used to be able to wake up at 9.30am and still not too late for work~ But now, I have to wake up even earlier, which also means I have to sleep early…sigh~

Well anyhow, lunch at Velocity because boss needed to settle some things there~ Miss my $2.20 lunch from the coffeeshop x.x

Ramen from Ramen Monster~ They are called Ramen Monster because they have this big bowl of ramen (worth $20.90) and if you can finish it in 20 minutes, you can have it for free! Any takers?

Reiko got her ice-cream from Baskin Robbins and she looks like a little girl sitting there, enjoying her ice-cream! xD

I took that shot when I was on the way back from the washroom and once I got back, she said embarrassingly, “Can you lend me $2?

It turned out that she did not have enough cash to pay for the ice-cream! LOL. I told her that if I were her, I will not dare to patronise that place again! Hahaha!

Time flies like a penguin (quoted from Reiko) and it was soon night time~ Headed to buddy’s house to collect my Lao Ban beancurds from him before going over to Shi Min’s to pass her presents from Queena as well as Lao Ban beancurds! (:

But it turned out that my beancurds were in liquid form by the time I ate it, so was my brothers! I truly hope the 2 I gave to Shi Min’s mum weren’t like this =/

Mad tired! Managed to sleep by 12am so that I will have energy to go for shopping after work the next day! I definitely don’t wanna be leading the kind of work-home-work-home life :S

We are going to the zoo zoo zoo!

Super lack of sleep because despite the 3 days of holiday, I didn’t really have any day which I can sleep in till noon or anytime I want! Every day is packed with something till late and today it’s zoo~! :D

Photobucket

Do I look like tourist??? xD

I think the last time I went to the zoo (excluding Night Safari) was 4 years ago with Joanjoan and Chienny??? =O
So thanks to Ah Lyn’s free tickets, I get to visit again! Hehe.

Oh I said I will definitely be buay paiseh and bring my Rilakkuma bee bag out one day and I really did! It’s cho~ cute anyway!
Photobucket

After the previous experience, I have learnt not to spam my camera and just take 1-2 photos for each animal! Haha! Most of the shots turn out quite nice (:

My favourite! Hehe!
Photobucket

Parrots!
Photobucket

Reminds me of Zee’s huge parrot!
Photobucket

It’s eating on the tree! Spot it! :D
Photobucket

The girls kept telling me that these are fake crocodiles (because the mouths are open and they are motionless) but I refused to believe! How can zoo be exhibiting fake animals right???
Photobucket

Then at the end of the trip, we decided to come back and take a look; the crocodiles were not longer there! So much for being fake -_____-|||

I forgot all their names~
Photobucket

The tail kinda blends in well with the zookeeper’s hair below! Hahaha!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Otters!!! ❤

Photobucket

Tapir~

Looks a little like elephant with the trunk!
Photobucket

Whose butts are these?
Photobucket

I think they are the Babirusa~
Photobucket

Snapped more shots of the tiger because it’s beautiful~!
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Nice shots! :D
PhotobucketPhotobucket

这是海龟吗?
Photobucket

Hippo!
Photobucket

Feeding time~!
Photobucket

The lizards area :S
Photobucket

Looks like snake with legs!
Photobucket

Yuck~!
Photobucket

Kangaroos!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Muack muack!

Caught in action when trying to disturb me!
Photobucket

We took this because they are like Lyn, Joan and me! Joan is the one sitting alone and then Lyn will start saying Joan is emo and ask me to go and accompany her, which was exactly what they did! LOL.
Photobucket

These 2 are so cute! They are sayang-ing each other xD
Photobucket

Oops! Got caught! Haha!
Photobucket

And this nonchalant one is so soundly asleep! LOL.
Photobucket

The memorable one that keeps repeating his “standard procedures” – scratch butt, look at hand, smell it…LOL.
Photobucket

Caught in action!!! LOL!
Photobucket

Went for the elephant show and got impressed by how smart these animals are! (:
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Carrying the log~
Photobucket

Teamwork!
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Great show!!! :D

Next up are the cute little penguins! But we did not catch the show because we had another half of the zoo to cover =/
Photobucket

Ah Mengs!
PhotobucketPhotobucket

The giraffe refused to turn around~
Photobucket

Giant tortoise!!!
Photobucket

And this is the Lemur~ Love its tail!
Photobucket

Managed to cover 85% of the whole place before the zoo closed at 6pm! Hehe! It was a tiring (and sleepy) but enjoyable trip! (:

Love this group photo! Like some outdoor shoots! Haha! We are sitting according to our age VS the size of the sea lion by the way xD
Photobucket

Lyn had $30 vouchers which came along with the 5 tickets (we gave 1 away in the end) but there was nothing to buy in the souvenir shops! So we spent them on food and ice-cream in the end…haha!

Waiting for bus to go back and the queue was damnnnnnnnnn longgggggggggg!!!
Photobucket

Another shot because Ah Lyn complained that my cap is too high, hence covering her face -___________-|||
Photobucket

Photobucket

Cam-whore! xD

Collected Lyn’s log cake from WJ’s house before heading over to Han’s for our belated mini celebration! Imagine if we gotta carry such a big box around :S

Anyhow, it seems like this guy still doesn’t know how to count the number of bus-stops after all these years! We almost missed our stop because he said Han’s is 2 bus-stops away (he counted the boarding stop as the first bus-stop AGAIN -.-”) and it’s actually just 1! LOL.

But nonetheless, all thanks to his help for agreeing to help us keep the cake! Though I feel damn paisehto be borrowing people’s fridge =/

Photobucket

Merry belated Christmas! xD

And to avoid the complication of having to explain to the staff that we are actually celebrating a belated Christmas, I told him that we have a birthday cake and asked for permission to eat it inside…

As a result, we received “special treatment” and he was extra helpful to us! He even asked if it is my birthday and I did not know how to answer! LOL.

I did not even dare to take out the log cake anymore!!! Eventually we did and I decided to pretend that I am making my “birthday wish” to a log cake! Hahahaha!!!
Photobucket

Played a round of Monopoly Deal before we all headed home! (:
Then something funny happened in the bus when notes started to fall out of my unzipped bag…

Joan: Eh your $10!!!

Me: No?! You put here one is it!!! (She was pushing money to me earlier on for lunch)

Joan: One whole stack leh!!! *points to my other 2 notes dropping out*

Me: *LOL* Only 3 notes! What one whole stack?!

And she couldn’t stop laughing after that…ROFL.

Had so much laughter and LOVE from the girls! Photobucket

Really surprised that Joan even got a Christmas gift for me yet I was all empty-ended! D:

Photobucket

Bee bath set from Joan! ❤

Photobucket

Bee Rilakkuma mug from Lyn! :D

Christmas Day~!

Christmas day spent with Clique! (:
It’s been a long day since we last sang K together and it’s also the first time Winnie is singing with us, though I have kinda sung with her before…haha!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Merry Christmas everyone! :D

It’s always kinda awkward to sing after a breakup because people will start linking ALL the lyrics to you~ But at least now stupid Gui knows how I felt back then! I hope it’s Soon Song’s turn soon! LOL!

One of the #AwkwardMoment~
We were singing 那些年 and being nonsensical as usual, Gui recited the lines from the MV and said, “你就是那么幼稚!” to Queen…

Who knows she actually continued his nonsense, “我就是幼稚 。。。 *pause*” before she realised that she had fallen into the “trap“!

Because the next line is “我就是幼稚,才会追你这种努力用功读书的女生!我就是幼稚,才有办法追你这么久!” =X

The nonsensical (and childish) one mimicking Eason’s MV from the sofa all the way to the front of the TV -_____-|||
Photobucket

With buddy~! The hat looks too small for his big head! LOL.
Photobucket

The 2 WJs joined us after K and off we went for dinner at Kazokutei! (:
Photobucket

Then Shrine did something ridiculous that we don’t know whether to laugh or feel disgusted! As usual =/

He was trying WJ and Soon Song’s soba across the table and the sauce was dripping all over the table! Panicking, he decided to just use the table as a plate and ate from there!!! LOL! Mad disgusting!

My Tofu Hamburger Omu Rice~ My first meal of the day that’s why I dare to order a set! But TCC still ended up helping me finish my omelette rice…hehe.
Photobucket

No idea what to do after that and we started discussing about catching a movie…

Me: I heard We Bought A Zoo is nice!

Soon Song: Yea it’s nice~ It’s a comedy.

Me: But the title is like so lame -.- We Bought A Zoo~

TCC: Yah the title!

Me: Yea…like I Bought A Toothpaste…

Everyone: *silence*

LOLOLOL.

Heading back to AMK for movie xD
Shagged out Shrine~
Photobucket

Since we still had time before the movie, the guys decided to play a few rounds of Mahjong at buddy’s house first. So I also took the chance to take a nap there…hehe.

Movie time~!

I was looking forward to it since buddy said it’s a comedy and I was in need of some laughter, and it was also highly-raved by 1 of my friends, so yea…

But it turned out that it’s not a comedy at all -.- Neither was it thattttttttttt impressive. It was quite touching at some parts though, and I kinda teared for it. Not bad, but not fantastic.

Sweet souvenir from Queen from Malaysia! Love it! (((:
Photobucket

And she also gave each of us a different Christmas present! I got a Jodi Picoult book, chosen with the help of her sisters, who are also Jodi Picoult fans! Hahaha! Thank you! ❤
Photobucket

What an exhausting Christmas~

Christmas Eve 2011~! (:

Chingay practice on Christmas eve but I am definitely not missing it after skipping last week’s! =/
Photobucket

Xiao Qian has finally joined me this week and she is making me stress by being stressed! Haha! She was so scared that she would not be able to remember all the steps by the actual day, so she kept looping the video during break time =/

I was also in the catching-up mode because they had changed the whole of the last part! But given my memory, I know that looping the video and memorising doesn’t work for me; I’m more of the practice-makes-perfect kind~

Photobucket

Gift from Xiao Qian! :D

I like to read back on my archive to know what I was doing a year ago, like how I celebrated Christmas last year and so on! It was also a simple Christmas eve last year; dinner with the girls before heading down to join Queena and family in town but ended up getting stuck in the crazy crowd! Haha!

Old Airport Road for dinner + Lao Ban beancurd ❤ !
Then watched New Year’s Eve on Christmas Eve! Hahaha!

Quite a heart-warming movie (:

It’s suspended there to remind us before we pop the champagne and celebrate the New Year, to stop and reflect on the year that has gone by. To remember both our triumphs and our missteps – our promises made, and broken. The times we opened ourselves up to great adventures – or closed ourselves down, for fear of getting hurt. Because that’s what New Year’s is all about: getting another chance. A chance to forgive, to do better, to do more, to give more, to love more. And stop worrying about ‘what if’ and start embracing what would be. So when that ball drops at midnight – and it will drop – let’s remember to be nice to each other, kind to each other. And not just tonight but all year long.

- New Year’s Eve (movie)

Very memorable and meaningful quote from the movie, even though my favourite quote is actually Laura (Katherine Heigl) saying, “I’ve been planning that slap all year. It wasn’t as satisfying as I expected.” LOL.

Passing by!
Photobucket

It’s made up of bear plushies!
Photobucket

Cute, isn’t it?!
Photobucket

So is my bag! xD
Photobucket

Outside the “Mama Shop“! LOL. (Inside joke~)
Photobucket

It was a rainy Christmas eve, kinda spoiler~
But I won’t let it ruin the night or my mood just like this; I’ll just take it as dancing in the rain…haha!

Finally reached Paulaner but it was full house! But not surprised though~
So changed plan and spent the 12am at Tawandang instead! (:

Christmas Company Dinner!

Have been really busy and totally had no time for Christmas shopping! I mean I had been staying in the office till like 8 plus or 9 for the moving and packing, where to find time to shop???

So I planned to bake some cupcakes for my colleagues instead! (:
It’s sweeter anyway!
Photobucket

Only had enough mixture to make like 9 and only 3 out of the first 6 look presentable -.- I just needed 1 more and I was hoping that 1 of the remaining 3 can turn out well enough…
Photobucket

Unfortunately, they all turned into “dark chocolate cupcakes” because yours truly was too busy with the laptop and totally forgot about the kitchen!!! Argh. So it was a fail, end of story.

Decided to try another route to work by changing bus but I missed the stop! Zzzz! But I know I can survive as long as I have a 3G phone…hoho~

Took bus to Commonwealth area and walked a long distance before I finally reached the station~ But I walked straight into the pasar malam there! HAHA! Hopeless!!!

Luckily there is a supermarket there and I decided to get something for my boss and colleagues there! (:

Finally reached office with gifts stacking up to my face cause the glam queen refused to use the ugly plastic bag! Oops~ Take it as I’m saving the earth ya!
Photobucket

We were stuck outside along with the people from Singapore Power because Wilson latched the back door and we only have key for that! So boss rushed back to open the front door instead =/

Electricity check done in a few minutes and our power supply resumed! We have electricity for our party now~! :D
Photobucket

Cleared a bit of stuff before heading to town for grocery shopping~! We gonna have our Christmas dinner in the new office! Hehe. ❤ ❤ ❤ grocery shopping!!!
Photobucket

Bought so much sashimi and sushi! *exciteddddd!*
Then dropped by Regent Hotel to collect our cake! (:

Initially, boss told us to just wait in the car~ Then he rushed back and insisted that we go in and take a look at the pretty Christmas decorations! Haha!
Photobucket

Photobucket

With colleagues!

Photobucket

Distorted face~

Back to office and we started tidying up the office a little more~ Then boss also started putting up Christmas decoration excitedly xD
Photobucket

Photobucket

The photo of the year...hahahaha!

And he decided to make some frosty effect -____-|||
Photobucket

This year’s Christmas dinner was a little different; not only are we not celebrating in a restaurant but our cozy new office instead, boss’s wife would be joining as well!!! It’s the first time she’s joining us for company dinner! (((:

Waiting for boss to be back from fetching his wife (and the chicken)! (:
Photobucket

But it turned out to be quite a long wait and Wilson and I were both famished =/
He even opened up the present from me to eat! Hahahaha!

Photobucket

A little gift from me (:

So boss was finally back with his family at around 8pm and we officially commenced on our Christmas party! Boss’s wife – Auntie J is really cute and she prepared so many Christmas-themed stuff! Look at the cute table cloth!!!
Photobucket

Even the serviette is Christmas theme! Haha!
Photobucket

So is the cup! :D
Photobucket

Snowman plate with Miss Santa serviette…hehe.
Photobucket

I heard from Reiko that she had been quite excited about the party and I can totally see it! She was busy preparing and decorating the table, unconsciously mumbling to herself in Japanese as she was doing…haha! So cute! xD
Photobucket

Helping out with his “specialty” – the lighter!
Photobucket

Pretty, isn’t it!!! :D
Photobucket

And she even brought these cute wine glass charms for us to identity our glasses!!!
Photobucket

Mine is an angel! :D
Photobucket

Our glasses with individual charms!
Photobucket

And my glass of champagne with my angel charm! (:
Photobucket

Really love these candles decoration! It has a feel of those Christmas dinner that I have always been dreaming of having! Hehe.
Photobucket

Our first course meal is the roast chicken! But none of us managed to take a picture of it before boss tore them into pieces =/
Photobucket

Ready to dig in!
Photobucket

Photobucket

First main course~

Chit-chatting and laughing over the food and drinks, while enjoying the coziness of our new place (:
Photobucket

Done with chicken! Moving on to the long-awaited sashimi :D
Photobucket

My favourite salmon sashimi!!! ❤
Photobucket

This is highly raved by Reiko! I know it looks disgusting for non-sashimi lovers, especially with the fish staring at you…haha!
Photobucket

Last time I would probably retch if I see this, let alone eating it. But after joining this company and under the influence of Japanese culture, I have learnt to appreciate sashimi and am loving them! xD

Photobucket

Prawn sashimi!

Photobucket

1 of the many sushi!

Photobucket

And Japanese glutinous rice!

Not only are my boss and colleagues fans of sashimi, they are also pretty alcoholic! So as expected, I am not spared from the Sake after we finished the bottle of champagne! Haha!
Photobucket

Reiko was giving Wilson some “sashimi tutorial” and teaching him how to appreciate certain kinds of sashimi xD
Photobucket

Savouring it~
Photobucket

Then end it with a sip of sake~
Dope!” He said! Hahaha!
Photobucket

Cheers to our sashimi-appreciation lecturer~! xD
Photobucket

We were super full somehow before we even finished the sashimi and sushi nor the chicken! And it was already close to midnight!

Auntie J was worried that we might have curfews or such (LOL) and on the other hand, boss was soooohappy and he kept saying it’s Christmas, so it’s okay to stay out a little late…hahaha!

Photobucket

Pressie from Reiko! :D

Thank goodness I got them something in the end! Hehe.
Love Christmas! Love receiving so many gifts! (((((:
Photobucket

Ended the night with the log cake~!
Photobucket

What’s Christmas without log cake right? :D
Photobucket

And they insisted that we must have red wine with the log cake because they compliment each other~ So after the bottle of champagne and then sake, it’s time for red wine! =O
Photobucket

Boss cutting the log cake~
Photobucket

Very seriously~~~ Hahaha!
Photobucket

Auntie J giving her advice~
Photobucket

They are really such a loving couple by the way! Once Auntie J said she’s cold, boss stood up immediately to switch off one air-con. He totally treats her like a princess even at this age, taking drinks and this and that for her~

Reminds me of Donnie Yen’s quote in Ip Man – 世界上没有怕老婆的男人,只有尊重老婆的男人! Where to find such husband?! Haha! And now I know why boss has always been so protective towards Reiko and I, as in the girls (:

Super filling cake! It’s soooo chocolaty and even has got fruits and biscuit bits inside! Cho~ nice!!!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Cheers everyone!!!!

May everything goes well in the coming 2012 and may we have a prosperous new year! (:
Photobucket

Finally ended the party at 1+ am and boss insisted on sending us home even though we said we can just take cab~ Mad tireddddd and sleepy, but it was a great night and bonding session! (((((:

Suddenly lost track of time due to the recent busyness! The moving is more or less done and we are basically busy with unpacking now! Have been having late lunch lately due to the shifting-busyness too x.x

Thank goodness I have my 八宝盒 with yummy Taiwan goodies from Cla! Hoho~

Thought we would end pretty early because the power supply has been cut off temporarily till Singapore Power comes to check the next day, but we continued packing even without the air-con~ Sticky and gao wei :S

One of the random nights when it was snowing in Singapore, from the bottom! LOL.

Virgin visit to Dempsey Hill! Felt like a mountain tortoise whenever people go, “What?! You have not been there before?!” Well, now I did! (:

And now I know why everyone says our office location looks like Dempsey now! Haha!

Continued packing and loaded all our stuff up the lorry! Poor Wilson gotta squeeze at the back like a banglah =/

Actually I don’t mind sitting at the back too~ But Reiko said, “Will they (the men) even let you do so?” and I was speechless…haix~ It’s the men VS ladies thing again -.-”

Super late lunch at 4+ before heading to our new office! Unpacked as much as we could and I managed to set up my Mac on my own as well~ Thanks to the previous moving experience! Haha!

I’m starting to like the new place a little more now (:
Everyone loves the place and I’m just okayyyyy with it at first because I’m actually fine with anywhere as long as it is accessible and preferably close to my house! Hehe.

Unpacked till around 9pm before we decided to continue tomorrow~ Tired!

That's what I think too...
