No morning-cam-whore photo because we were busy packing to check out!!! Haha!

We kept remembering that the check-in time for next hostel is 1.50pm, so we thought we have plenty of time… But we forgot that the check-out time for Bangrang Hostel is 11am!!!
By the time I recalled, it was 10.50am and Siew Eng had just went in for her shower =/
Maddddddd rush!!! In the end we only managed to check out at 11.30am and nice Chi happened to come up -embarrassed-
He’s the same-age-as-us Mr. Nice that I have been talking about! (:
Looks quite compatible with Siew Eng right!!! Hahahaha!

He did not even say anything about us checking out 30 minutes late! In fact, he even helped us to carry our luggage down the stairs and slope! Mad niceeeeeeeee!!!

Went to the common area to slack since there were still a couple of hours before our next hostel check-in and we didn’t wanna drag the luggage around =/

Took this opportunity to take a photo with our new Japanese friend!

He was in cahoots with us to steal scotch tape on the first night! LOL. We had such a hard time explaining to him what we are looking for due to language barrier (he doesn’t know what’s scotch tape!!!) and when he finally got it, he started helping us to find too! Haha!
He was always here using the computer, which was why I asked here sarcastically, “Are you here for holiday??? … Or are you here just to use the computer?” ROFL!

Last tour around the common area! (:

The TV room that we did not use at all…haha!

The kitchen where we only came a few times to cook cup noodle =/

The clean washroom! (:

Last few shots with Bangrang Hostel! (:

Super hungry and I decided to shamelessly use the hot water there to cook my cup noodle despite having checked out already…LOL.

Waiting for my noodle!

Cheese flavour! Cho oishii!

Finished my noodle and it’s time to set off~! Though it was still quite early…hehe. It’s just so paiseh to keep staying there after we have checked out just because we have no place to go! =/
My loots – 1 luggage + 1 sling bag + 2 big bags of groceries
Siew Eng’s – 1 luggage + 2 backpacks (one which she’s carrying) + 1 bag of groceries! Haha!

Goodbye to the convenience store where we bought our late night cup noodle and snack!

Goodbye Chungjeong-no~!

Off to our next hostel at Dongdaemun area which is just few stops away! (:

Reached! But dragging the luggage and carrying the 2 heavy bags of snacks from the hostel to train station is exhausting enough!!!

But we still managed to stop by and take photo of this pretty dog! Hehe.

The 好命 bear!!! Just gotta lie on the luggage while we drag him around x.x

Hello Dongdaemun!

In case you’re wondering why we decided to go through the hassle of moving here when it’s just few stops away from our previous hostel, it’s because Dongdaemun is the shopping area which opens till morning! xD

Dragging our luggage to the hostel~~~

Luckily it didn’t take us too long to find it! All thanks to Siew Eng’s research!

But it was still 20 minutes before the check-in time D:
So I decided to go up and take a look at the apartment to see if the landlord is there~
Didn’t expect it to be such an ulu corridor because the room design is far from this; thought we were at the wrong place =/

The person happened to be doing last-minute preparation for our room and I managed to convince her to let us put our stuff inside first…phew~ Looking at the cute room, I know we are definitely at the right place now! Hehe.

The kitchen area! (:

And the nice view outside!

Now you know why I said the room design is far from the ulu corridor? Such a cute room just doesn’t match with such scary-looking corridor =/

Wizard of Oz; yay!

Even the bathroom door is cute! And the bathroom is definitely clean enough, though I forgot to take a picture of it~

Having my favourite butter waffle biscuit before heading out for our shopping day!

I like the lift because I can cam-whore! HAHAHA.

Headed out to find money changer first because Siew Eng is broke! =X

So after feeling rich again, we treated ourselves to some street stall snack! xD

My sausages with Tteokbokki aka their famous 辣炒年糕~

Off to Hyehwa to search for Siew Eng’s wall paintings~!

Intrigued by this cam-whore machine at the train station that we spent some time playing with it!!! You can actually take photo with the cute templates and send it to your email (though we did not manage to receive any)! I like!!! xD

I think this is like their Art School area~

Because it looks artistic!

Amazed by the beauty of the place (:

There are gingko leaves everywhere! To think that we even gotta import it from Korea for our shoot 2 years ago because it cannot be found in Singapore! Haha!

Another beautiful tree!

How can a tree be so beautiful, seriously!

Street stall selling toys and biscuit!

Another street stall selling these “pillow biscuits“~

This building looks Italian!

*slurp~*

Even the Coffee Bean is so chio can?!

Shopping along the way!

Looks real right?! But it’s not a real cake!

Another unique cafe decorated with notes written by people from around the world (:

Hyehwa is really a nice place to take photos by the way!

Nice buildings everywhere~

A nice Italian pizza restaurant!

Another quiet cafe that you can read a book in (:

Many many biscuits!

The wall paintings are supposed to be amongst these houses but we didn’t seem to spot any of them~

After walking through half of it, we decided to ask for direction because imagine finishing the whole place but still no sign of the walls; such a waste of time luh (and not forgetting the energy spent climbing the slopesssssss) =/
So we asked this uncle in business suit for help and due to communication barrier, he took our map and told us to just follow him! And he walked like so damn fasttttttt! LOL.
In the end he couldn’t find the place either and asked 2 students to help us instead…haha! But so nice of him to be so enthusiastic in helping us! ((((:
So the 2 students gave us the direction, leading us to this steep slope~

I was thinking, “This better be the right way…” because the slope is pretty long and steep can?! Don’t wanna waste my energy x.x

This is the graffiti wall?! Okay luh…it’s not~

The sun is setting already!

Once again, amazed by the beauty of trees again (:

Top view of the houses!

With one look, you know this is not Singapore (:

No HDB flats~

Spotted the first wall painting!

Tomato tree???

More of the views from top~

This is cute!

Walking towards the sky~ (:

Siew Eng managed to catch up with me and take photos for me! Hehe.

Sunset in Korea!
Took a candid emo shot of Siew Eng…haha!

My turn for an emo shot! xD

Siew Eng ended up sitting there, refusing to move despite it being evening soon and we had our itinerary to catch up with -____-”
More wall paintings to come!

I have no idea what it means but only thought of one person when I took this (:

This place is really good for photography!

Painted stairs! (:

Cute wall paintings~

And that’s the end of our wall paintings journey~

Spot me!

So cute! Haha!

Nightfall~

Hungry because the cup noodle was my only “proper” meal of the day =/
Bought junkies from the convenience store hidden amongst the houses!

Sour plum flavour mochi~!

大便!!!

Looks like Banana in Pajamas without the body! xD

Yellow mellow~

Left Hyehwa to head to our next location – Myeongdong! And I almost stepped on this dog in the train! It’s a service dog by the way~

Like Dongdaemun, Myeongdong is also another shopping paradise aka the “Orchard Road” of Singapore! Just that it doesn’t open till late night (:
Shopped at the station first before heading out!
Got attracted by a nice smell~

Making in progress!

And here are my warm custard mini pancakes!

I love it! The custard is damn 香!

Out to the real shopping area!

Tempted by all the street stalls! If buddy was there, he would have tried all of them…hahaha!

I think I saw this in 食尚玩家, that’s why I decided to try it! (:

This is called hoddeok, which is sweet pancake with brown sugar syrup in it; nice but messy!

Off for shopping now~!

Spent mainly on facial products and the shops there will throw in lots of free samples or masks, making you feel it’s damn worth it to buy! 女人的钱真好赚!!!
But met this rude PRC staff in 1 of the shops who kept pestering us to buy things and when we decided not to buy anything, she said sarcastically, “那个面膜就给你们吧~ (You can just take the free mask)” @#$%&@#$%&!!!!!!!
That’s why I say employing such people will only ruin the service industry! Can’t speak proper English and yet such poor service attitude! Eventually of course we just dropped that cheapo free mask at the door and left! Zzzzz.

I bought this hand cream because it’s mad cute!!!!!!!!!! How can I not buy right?! xD

(:
Making dragon’s beard candy~

Shopped till I was broke in Faceshop because I did not bring all my money out! Dumb! End up I gotta remove some items from my basket before paying and even borrowed money from Siew Eng first -embarrassing!-
Look at the crazy amount of facial products I bought!!!

Etude House, Holika Holika, Nature’s Republic, Faceshop, Skinfood and Tony Moly; you name it, I have it! Haha! But 70% of the products belong to my Sis actually =/

Back to Dongdaemun and we headed down for our midnight shopping after putting our loots in hostel first! xD

Street stall food again!

Got myself a sausage~! Hehe.

Reminds me of TAIWANNNNNNNN!

There are a few malls there and we didn’t know which to begin with. And since 食尚玩家 highly recommended this APM place for cheap shopping, because it’s a wholesale mall, I decided to search for that first~

We didn’t really manage to find this mall, but we did found a mall called Hello APM, which is the closest in name. Sadly, it’s probably not what I was looking for~ All the clothes are more of the designer kind, hence a little more pricey x.x
It was kinda a disappointing trip though I managed to get a skirt in the end. Would rather have gone back to sleep -.- But we still shopped till 2am and I was madddddd sleepy already! Not forgetting that my legs are aching after a whole day of walking and climbing of slopes! D:
Age is catching up~~~
