Of course also because I have the AJC girl to partner with me these 2 weeks and even though I did not get to partner her this time, at least I’m not alone! Hehe.

So it’s not just me you see~ But I still took over her for the last round because the poor girl was dying from partnering with the female coach..haha!

Finally watched LOVE and I was really looking forward to it once I saw the poster!

Although I heard from the people who have watched saying that the movie is not that nice, I was still looking forward and determined to watch! And guess what! I actually like it pretty much!

3 funny and touching love stories that is not just about the love between couples, but love between friends and siblings as well (:

They may not be extremely touching but there are still many quotes that I like or can relate to! I guess one of the most memorable ones was – 永远不要去想念你不曾拥有的~

And I think my heart will melt if anyone ever says, “你的未来我全包了” to me…hahahaha! Of course not the 包养 kind, because 我不接受包养, 我只接受 … 爱。(Another cheesy quote from the movie…LOL)

Healthy Sunday!

My Sundays are usually spent snuggling in bed till whatever timing I want or need - if there’s any outing to prepare for. But this Sunday is a little different and healthy because I went for a morning walk with Shi Min! xD

That 老人 said she felt like going for a walk at the newly renovated Bishan Park and it really feels like such a 老人 activity! LOL. But before we even reached, she had already started complaining about the hot sun -___-|||

She was looking forward to the new look because the news make it sounds damn nice~ And I guess this is the “nature” kind of feel that it was referring to…LOL.

Then Shi Min made me climb down a slope to this mud water pond after spotting a swan there~

A SWAN?!?!?! ROFL!

I only see a poor dead frog crushed by the lorry from the construction site!

Finished exploring and we spent the next 1 hour plus trying to find our way to Shunfu Market because Shi Min wanted to try her luck for the muffins there…LOL. In the end we got lost just before Thomson Plaza; we tried to take the shortcut but got stuck amongst the terraces =/

So we walked all the way out again and ended up at Sin Ming area~ She was contemplating on giving up or to continue from Sin Ming and luckily we chose the helpline – called TCC to check and realised the muffin stall is actually closed on Sundays! ROFL!

So much for the long walk! Hahahaha! But it was a good 2 hours 老人-walk exercise xD

Back home to shower and then headed out again to Sis’s house! Had not met the little burger since CNY and I definitely miss him so much!!!

Probably because he is slightly less cranky now, or maybe it’s just more comfy to play with him when I can lie down. Usually when we are at the sofa, it’s just stand or sit, so he gets cranky once he’s tired of the same position…haha!

Love it when babies grab tightly on to my finger! So cute ❤ !

But why does it seem like my finger is his next food in the queue (after he finishes his own thumb)…LOL!

He got sick of lying there again so it’s time to carry him! And this is what happen when you have a cam-whore aunt – geh geh force you to cam-whore with her! LOLOL.

Can see that he’s not a fan of it at all because he started to get grumpy…hahaha! But I will try harder the next time xD

Sis and Victor decided to head out for an earlier dinner because I need to rush off for my movie =/
Wanted to eat custard buns again but the queue at Kungfu Paradise was pretty long, so we switched to Fish N Chicks instead.

My Mushroom Aglio Olio!

I realised this is actually my first time ordering Aglio Olio. Never ordered it before (only tried it) because I find it oily, but I guess I got influenced~ It’s pretty nice by the way! (:

Rushed back to AMK for Mr & Mrs Gambler and luckily I made it just in time! I bet everyone was surprised as I did..hahaha!

Not really interested in this movie but it’s more of a Clique thing~
Even Miss President Khiew is there, so how can I not be! xD

Anyway, she had zero idea what this movie is about either, and it turned out really lame! It’s the lame kind of comedy; the same kind as The Great Magician, whereby you go, “WTH?!?!” and then laugh at the lameness of it…hahaha!

Ended up at our most frequent hangout – buddy’s house after the movie! But left shortly after to search for food for the hungry ghosts~

Been a long time since I had Margarita~

Sudden urge to cross the border for some shopping!
Decided to bring the kid along since I had promised her quite some time ago that I will bring her there~

Went in pretty late than usual and luckily neither the bus queue nor custom crowd was too bad (:
But by the time we reached, it was already 3 plus, so headed for fooddddd immediately!

Lyn was tempted by the french toast as everyone seems to be having that, so we decided to order one to share. Sadly, there is peanut butter in it! I forgot that I ordered once with Soon Song and Shrine =/

Actually I didn’t mind eating because I was damn hungry, but the little girl refused to let me -.-”
Anyway, our favourite – mushroommmmmmm~!

But sometimes it can be quite agonising to share food with her because she lovesssss to split them equally or ensure that I get more, no matter how hungry or full she is…Zzzzzz!

I was kinda sad because I did not really buy any clothes even though there were sales around! No shoes too! Boohoo~ Got a tee in the end and then my best buy of the day *point below*!!!

I think it’s sooooo cute that I wish they have adult size as well! And it’s such a steal because it was on sales, then when I was paying, there was further discount of another RM 8!

The Wedding Diary

Had no intention to watch The Wedding Diary initially but after hearing some many people saying it’s nice, I was tempted to watch too! Hehe. So since it’s rather impromptu to ask people along and most have already watched, I decided to just try my luck for the 7+ timing!

5 minutes late after queuing for the ticket but still managed to make it in time! (:
I really don’t wanna miss movies that I wanna watch anymore, especially when this has been out for quite some time~

So glad that I managed to watch it before it stops showing because I like it! Hilarious, realistic and touching~ It’s true that weddings are not just red bombs for friends and relatives, but for yourself too! =/

I don’t get either why must we spend so much for the sake of “face” -.- 婚宴摆得越大，就会越幸福吗？？？

Blur blur day~

Felt so so so good waking up after 10 hours of sleep!

But such a blur day~ First I forgot to bring my gloves! Then while heading out to get lunch, all 4 of us did not bring the key out and we were locked outside the office!!!

Can’t believe the management doesn’t hold any spare key, so we were really stuckkkkk =/
Luckily we managed to solve the problem within like 30 minutes! By breaking through the window!!! LOL!

We totally looked like some burglars!!!

Managed to go home to get my gloves before training, thanks to 顺风车！
Yay~! Don’t have to use Mr Lame’s smelly gloves!!!

Double YAY because I have a partner for the night, so I don’t have to partner the female coach! Hoho~! Everyone knows how glad I was when Weiting’s friend appeared for makeup class! Hahaha! Haven’t seen nor partnered her for soooooo long!

I even psycho-ed her to come again on next Wednesday for another of her makeup class and she tried to psycho me to join Sunday class because she doesn’t have a partner either! But Sunday class is …*yawn~*

Back home and headed out immediately for parcel delivery! So excited when I finally received the parcel that I have been tracking these days because it’s supposed to be Chii Hian’s birthday present!

Delivered it to her doorstep as promised and I did not even have time to write a proper birthday message on the box…haha! Neither do I wanna unwrap her present, so I have to depend on Google for the images~

It’s actually a Hello Kitty sushi maker set! Don’t be deceived by her appearance, she actually loves Hello Kitty and is recently into some “training of becoming a good housewife“, hence spending lots of time to cook and etc! xD

Awwww~ I can already imagine her making these cute sushi for Gary! Though she is more keen to make Dear Daniel ones for him…haha! So sweet~!

Tranquility

Have been feeling unwell for the past 2 days~ Took MC on Monday because I was soooo lethargic when I woke up; probably spent most of the time waking up to cough -.-”

Needed some tranquility and was planning to head to 1 of my favourite quiet places, but thanks to the rain, I had to stay indoor…Zzzzz. So I went to the quietest indoor place I know of – library! Haha!

Had a good read there before my stomach started growling~ So it’s time to pamper myself with something that makes me happy! ((:

Custard buns!!!

Then came my companion of the day and off to sing that is! It’s actually my first time at Teo Heng and the screen is touch screen!

But I think I still prefer the remote control because there were a few times when I accidentally “touched” the wrong song =/

And although my throat was totally not in the condition to sing (kept having phlegm stuck there), it still makes me feel better whenever I sing! Tralala~

Chii Hian’s 23rd surprise~!

Yet another long day~
Woke up earlier than any other Sundays as well for the sake of Mac breakfast!

Actually, it’s more of for my dearest PPGs because I can never wake up in time for Mac breakfast…haha! But because Nadine suggested a meetup before she flies to India at night, we met for brunch! ((((:

Ordered 2 deluxe sets to be shared by Nadine, Xiao Qian and I, but I still think it’s too much! We were too full to eat all the breads that Xiao Qian bought from JAS and brought to share with us! LOL. So sweet~

And Nadine started giving out goodies again, from Shanghai this time round and she’s really becoming like Santa Claus! Every meet up with her, we receive so many goodies! Haha!

Went back home to settle some stuff before heading out again to meet Kai Bin and gang! (:
Bought some dim sum for Chii Hian’s dad, whom we were going to visit in the hospital~

Listened to their funny conversation between her dad and her, as well as her brother…haha! I think Chii Hian can be the ambassador of Sakura or Seoul Garden, looking at the way she promotes the buffet there!

But I know she just wanna encourage her dad to get well because there are many good food waiting for him! So glad to know that Uncle can be discharged the next day and celebrate Chii Hian’s birthday with her! (((:

But before that, it’s our turn to celebrate first! Hehe!
Off to Suntec Astons and I thought it has closed down, but actually we just went to the wrong side…LOL.

Then just upon finishing our meal, a guy walked in romantically with a big helium balloon and a cake! And that’s none other than our guest-of-honour – Gary!!! xD

It was our plan to get the helium balloon for her because she mentioned to Shuning before that she likes it, but because we had to visit her dad first, there was no way for us to get the balloon! =/

Thank goodness we have Gary to help us and the whole surprise turned out well! Totally like some marriage proposal!!! Sweet to the max! Except that he presented the helium balloon instead of the ring…hahahaha!

Despite of the persistent cough, I went ahead eating all sorts of nonsense since Chingay is over and I no longer need to worry that the cough will affect my performance =/

Friday night was spent with buddy, Shrine, Si Kai and Winnie, walking from PS to Wheelock and finally settled in Big O for this!

It’s the durian chocolate cake which I had during my birthday last year too! It’s just bad nice and no matter how bad your cough is, you just can’t resist this! Hahaha! Thanks to buddy for worsening my cough the treat! xD

Woke up earlier than any other Saturday and went down to ICA to collect my renewed passport after brunch! (:
My queue number was about 200 away but luckily it moved pretty fast~

The initial excitement of getting my new passport turned into disappointment because they made my nicely-photoshopped photo look like crap (I used a cam-whore shot and have to photoshop the background to white)! Somehow they cropped the side of it and now I look like I have no hair at the side…WTF?!

Off to the east because I have been wanting to visit a place where I used to go frequently during childhood – Loyang Tua Pek Gong!

I am not a religious person or anything, but I just like to revisit nostalgic places and see how different things are after a decade~ Some of the parts of the temple still leave a deep impression in my mind; the fond memories of Sunday outings with my Dad (:

But everyone seems to be coming here for luck, namely, wealth luck.

But there are still cute and innocent ones who are here for academic luck…haha! The difference between a child and an adult~

Off to meet Ah Lyn and I surprised her at her void deck when she happened to message and say she’s on the way to the MRT station! LOL. Busted!

Aimless as to where to go again but we both know that we want CUSTARD BUNS! xD
Just that Swee Choon was not opened yet, so we decided to find alternatives at places recommended by ladyironchef!

Impromptu drop-off at Bugis because I wanna eat mushroom too and Lyn wanted to eat Tom’s Palette~ So we got our mushroom, bumped into Chii Hian (who was cam-whoring in the middle of Bugis), and then off for our ice-cream!

Lyn started giving 幸福的脸 again whenever she eats her salted caramel…haha!

Then continued our journey to find custard buns and we walked all the way to Peach Garden at Raffles Place, only to find that their dim sum hour is over!!! T.T

We really walked pretty long before we reached there! How disappointing! And initially we thought at least we can still try the Brownie Factory which is also around the corner, but I forgot that most of the shops at Raffles are closed during weekend! Zzzzzz.

So it was pretty much a wasted trip and we were aimless as to where to go again =/
Walked to the train station and realised that Chinatown is actually just a street away! Yay~! We have somewhere to go now! LOL.

But we still did not manage to find any custard buns there, only recipe of it x.x

All the dim sum places do not seem to have custard buns! So sad!!!
And by then, we had been walking for 2 hours plus!!! The poor girl was damn hungry because we gave up everything for custard buns =/

So we finally gave up on the search and I brought her to Sugar Granny Cafe for durian sago dessert while we wait for Joan to join us after work! Then she gave 幸福的脸 again…hahaha!

Initial plan was to just settle dinner at Sugar Granny, but Lyn recalled the 1-for-1 promotion for Spizza and we headed there instead! Ordered takeaway and ate romantically under the pavilion because the promotion is only for takeaways! But super worth it!

Just after we were done eating, this weird uncle suddenly came over to join us in the pavilion -.- As expected, he started talking to us because we were giving him weird stares – “不用怕，我只是聊天而以。”

Not wanting him to think that we are some PRC hookers hanging around the area, I pretended that we don’t know how to speak Mandarin…haha! So he started talking to us in broken English…Zzzzz!

We ignored him most of the time but he just blabbered on, repeatedly telling us that he is very talkative and he is not married this year. He repeated “I not married this year” so many times  that I felt like asking, “So you are just not married THIS YEAR, but married last year right?” -.-”

Then he kept laughing at his own words even though we couldn’t care less about what he’s blabbering. If you can see, I was actually playing with the pizza box while Lyn was snapping these pictures of him “enjoying his own chat“! LOL!

Then he finally left us on our own after realising that we are never gonna chup him…Zzzzz. What a weirdo!!!
