Had a longgggg weekend as in a super packed one lasting from Saturday morning all the way till Sunday evening that I did not even go home for more than 24 hours! Hahaha! Didn’t even feel like there were 2 days for weekend! But it was all worthwhile ((:
Managed to work out a little before indulging in another feast at night! No regular project this week but the volunteers decided to have a gathering cum birthday celebration for the 2 December babies! Couldn’t join them for the day activity but I still went all the way down to the east for dinner with them (:
And suddenly, loud birthday music started playing through the entire Pizza Hut, leaving all of us looking blur. Cause there was no warning that it’s time for the birthday celebration and neither did we see any cake coming out! Hahaha!
In the end it turned out that there was just some delay in the cake part~ But I guess that made the surprise even more successful because if even we were being surprised, I bet the 2 birthday boy and girl were surprised too! xD
At the end of the dinner, we also each gave her a can/bottle of beer because that’s her favourite! Now that’s the real alcoholic okay~ Haha!
Off for stayover at Sis’s place again and this time round, I was given the 2 臭臭s automatically without having to ask for! It’s like a standard privilege to let me have 2 臭臭s now…hehehehehehehe!
Me: Yiyi bring home the 2 臭臭 okay???
Isaac: Don’t want lah… Next week come, then Isaac give you 2 臭臭 again~
Off for cycling at ECP again because the little
prince king wants to! We managed to squeeze in front again and had a lovely date together! Hehe! And he cam-whored with me with cute faces this time!!! *melttttttttttttt*
Lunch at Sushi Tei before I was finally back home~ But not for long; headed over to Chii Hian’s place soon after to have our virgin try on macaron-baking!
I wasn’t pinning much hope from the start as I know macaron is not easy to make, but Chii Hian on the other hand was 101% confident that we would succeed on our first try -_- And in the end? Of course she was the most disappointed one! Hahaha!
We already kinda know that we would fail after our eggs mixture did not turn out the way it should~ But to give up halfway, I thought we might as well try baking to see what it turns out. And ta-duh~! Our failed macaron that do not look a bit like macaron at all! xD
It turned out to be like some very sweet biscuit and it was actually better than I thought! Chii Hian refused to eat a second piece because she was way too disappointed and she kept repeating, “This is not macaron 😦 ” LOL. While her dad and I shared the same sentiment that at least we have biscuits! I mean I imagined our failure to be like some watery stuff that is not even edible!!! HAHAHAHA!
Chii Hian was saying that I’m very pessimistic at the start, but look who’s the one being utterly disappointed? And who’s the one being optimistic in the end? Hahaha!
It’s not that I am pessimistic, I just like to be prepared for the worst so that if I succeed, there’s a surprise; if I fail, there’s no disappointment. In other words, I am just saving my optimism to the end when I need it! 😛
